Niobe Labs Clarification
Greetings, Guardians.
Niobe Labs has brought together some of the most brilliant minds in the Destiny community in order to try and solve the puzzle. Unfortunately, a string on Level 7 was improperly removed which would have provided additional information. In lieu of this missing piece of the puzzle, we are providing the clue below to help players on their quest to complete Niobe Labs once and for all.
With weapons imbued

After reading all the comments on Niobe labs and what happened at level 7, I can only surmise that there is a mole in the organization whose only task is to create discontent within the community; i.e. problems. I really love the game, and realize there are problems with all platform games, but what happened with the last puzzle is just too obvious. It was sabotaged from within.

26 RisposteThe amount of people here that are railing into them for making a mistake and catching it within such a small period of time is ridiculous. How many of you little kids -blam!- up on a daily basis working at McDonalds or Macy's? You cant fully handle a bottom of the barrel job, if you even have one, but are so quick to lay into people that have to make sure every line of code written in this game is absolutely perfect at all times. Being upset when a company is constantly making mistakes is understandable, but how about you wait until it's a REAL problem before you start throwing your little baby bitch fits, you couldnt access the new forge immediately, oh no, the world is ending! They gave immediate access with no quests the following day. It's taken the community an extra day to figure out niobe labs because of a small error bungie made, OH MY GOD, I HAVE LOST THE WILL TO LIVE! Shit is absolutely embarrassing, get a grip on yourselves you bunch of over dramatic children.

13 RisposteAs a software tester, I do find it very, very hard to believe that something like this was missed [b][i]if[/i][/b] proper testing was carried out. I'm not even referring to regression testing... I'm referring solely to this new content. Stand alone system/functional testing along with play testing should have caught this before being released to production. Now, I'm aware you can never with 100% certainty identify every single defect, it's a well known fact... But this, being a major feature of the activity being missed, really should cause Bungie to look closer at their testing team. All the people who essentially wasted their time on this activity should rightly be pissed.

10 RisposteWait... But you watched people working on the forge. You BRAGGED about it on twitter, how you enjoy watching people attempting. So are you telling me of all those people streaming their level seven with CONSTANT screenshot of their "hint screen" visible on their channel, none of you saw a part of the screen was missing? So did you just not care about it then, or are you lying about it now? Is it malice or incompetence, it can only be one of the two if you're going to claim it was a bug.

9 RisposteGeez, sounds like another issue made it past internal QC. Not the 1st time either. Comedy of errors? Making content is hard? One thing I know is that in about a month the exodus from this game will be epic. Then what?

Let me get this straight: When you guys made this whole puzzle and did QA for it, [b]which I would assume you QA every piece of content released to the public[/b], did you not have the QA team sit and decipher every puzzle from 1 through 7 to make sure it was actually solvable? Was there absolutely no testing to make sure every aspect of this unbelievably convoluted puzzle actually worked? Was this puzzle so stupidly hard and time consuming that nobody could be bothered to put forth the time and effort to test it? It boggles my mind how something like this could happen, and then go unnoticed for literally days as the community nearly goes mad trying to solve it. And then to not even say “We’re sorry that we made a mistake”, I think, is the ultimate ‘-blam!- you’ to everyone who dedicated their time attempting to solve an unsolvable puzzle.

9 RisposteCryptic puzzles need to end. Puzzles are fine, but they should be solvable by a vast majority of your player base, not the 1%.

2 RisposteWell lab finally opens and offers steps for moving exotic quest forward. Yet by time they opened it had I had completely my weekly stuff. No since I can not get a rare bounty to drop again and i see next step is shattered throne I now have to wait 2 weeks to try and finish this?

Seems like a major oversight to not see if the puzzle could be solved and if it could how long it might take to beat it. I’m glad Bungie tried something new but this was not handled well. That clue may have hindered players from solving the puzzle. How do you guys know it is solvable with the clues and current game patch? Edit: ok I see on Bungie twitter that it is finally solved. Did that clue play a role?

14 RisposteThis is great! I still am not powerful enough to do the volundr forge. Great to get locked out of content I paid for. By the time I get to 600 it will be march and the gambler power rise will be out and I will still be behind.

What id like to see in the future is a lot more types of puzzles but different then just shooting things maybe add jumping puzzles, mazes stuff like that but please no ridiculous stuff where you have to go outside the game to figure out It should be hard but doable just in game to figure out but i want stuff like jumping puzzles or whatever really hard to execute

2 RisposteI Think lesson learned now... puzzles should be kept to side Quests... And maybe try puzzles for areas for Ali Baba type rewards... Also better rewards than from arc ball chests on dreaming city.. Not puzzles only for the highest IQ’S either ......... Keep Destiny Rolling ..it’s only decent shooter that gives you more, But one or two publishers are creeping towards and trying to steal this Unbelievable great world that’s been created...
