It panders to the gamble addiction community (those who must have 5/5 godrolls and will pay crazy money for it). Winning is whatever is satisfying for that person. Some people have to collect everything, for some it’s having perfect rolls, for some it’s having crazy elo. Etc. Everyone seems to be hyper focused on just PVP wins or my specific example. If paying money increase your odds of getting something. It’s pay to win. Heck, a while back people were mad because a guns barrel length changed with a cosmetic, and only increased the cone of accuracy my like a foot. This isn’t for me specifically, I’m just trying to make to point that this can and will get worse. Right now it’s paying for more RNG by buying more challenges. Next it will be “bonus raid keys” where you can pay to open the premium raid chests.

Pay to win means you can pay for power instead of having to play for it. By your logic, expansions are pay to win because they give you access to activities that have unique & exclusive rewards.

An expansion and paying to increase RNG ( or get core level materials) are 2 completely different things. It’s your money dude, spend it if you want. I’m just saying it’s an ethics concern. You aren’t going to change my mind with such easily dismissible, lazy claim.

If you and I played the same amount of IB but you got 100 rerolls, you’d have approximately 13 more drops than me. Thus giving you roughly giving you about a 33% higher chance (roughly, prob and statistics are effy) of receiving a top desired traits if we were to get the same weapons
