Build an armor set that gives higher chances of Power drops...

Heavy ammo finder and special ammo finders are both scam perks. Why do you think the Cayde class item drops with heavy ammo finder? Cause it's not a guarantee for heavy. I've already started using reserve and scavenger perks instead because they work 100% and provide value every time they can. Ammo finder perks are just a mystery.

I have never seen the Scavenger perk work for me. The Heavy Ammo Finder seems to run in cycles. I go a long time with no heavy dropping, then I get more than I can use for a bit, then back to nothing. Special Ammo Finder seems to be more reliable, but the greens drop pretty well anyway if you have a weapon equipped that require green bricks. I would love to see a video where Scavenger actually works in case I am missing the numbers adding to my ammo on screen. I admit my anecdote is not data, really, it's just my own private RNG hell.

It's possible that if you don't increase your reserves the bonus ammo has no place to go.
-
Yeah, I try to make sure I use armor that has Reserves for each of my weapons. Doesn't always work out because I don't want to equip something 20 PL lower than everything else. I'll keep checking to see if I can figure out how and when Scavenger works.

That is an opinion.
-
Oh. You have numbers?
-
Do you? I have heavy ammo finder on both my helmet and gauntlets, and I notice heavy bricks dropping much more frequently than when I didn’t have that perk at all. Don’t expect one perk to start making heavy rain from the sky.

Modificato da Dominator of Oats: 9/30/2018 11:08:44 PMNo. But I've had double perks and one heavy ammo brick drop in Gambit over 6 rounds. A chance is still just a chance. Scavenger works 100% of the time. Reserves work 100% of the time. There are the numbers. You're just lucky. And for the record, I don't know what is up with all the hyperbole, but I don't want heavy "raining from the sky." Why would I expect that? The world is not black and white. So sick of this "oh you don't like this, this means the exact opposite can only be true!!" LOL

I mean you’re the one claiming it’s a scam. Don’t lecture me about hyperbole.
