I agree I used to love this subclass now I can't get as meny kills as i used or as easily as I can on the other classes so now I play with this class even less shame really I loved using it and now I don't.

Have you tried enjoying the game and not caring about K/D ratios?
-
I used to enjoy not caring about k/d ratio or anything other than my health but now I have to care about my trip mine and pick up after it goes off cause it won't kill that person and deny access to that area I if to watch my back and pick after it quickly so the guy does not recover his health and that can mean a trade off or worse he took down my trip mine and knows where I am in most situations I will die cause I have to switch to my shotgun or primary if I'm using snipe and face the person who is trying to frank me and that means I if to use cover effectively in order to get him first before I didn't if to care about that I could just throw in to high traffic areas and get kills now I if to work that much harder for kills and it's not fun when it is so easy to get kills on other classes which is a shame I used to love using my gunslinger for fun and now it's not fun cuase it's hard work to get kills with it.

Honestly im glad the tripmines and throwing knives are right where they are. If you could get two instakill grenades and two instakill knives at one time then that unfair to any other subclass. Right now tripmines do still lock down an area and throwing knives do still have high damage, the difference is that gunslinger isn't a fire and forget class and requires that people can follow up their attacks that severely weaken opponents and likely halted whatever advance they had.

Let's see fusion on both Titan and warlock is a instant kill and you can have two of those on most setups I see a lot of people use that loadout and only that load out for both Titan and warlock cause of how powerful fusion grenades are.
-
Magnet Grenades instakill if it sticks and so do flux grenades. They are not mines that you place on a wall, they are sticky grenades.
-
Actually magnetic only instant kills in certain ways you can actually avoid the second explosion by running or falling from a certain height I might be able to do it with garrison but the point is I use that double grenade load out a lot and that cause I can get trade off so easy with it. My clan knows me as the post-mortem king cause that is how I roll. Anyway you are welcome to your opinion as I am.
-
I just dont think its fair to compare land mines to a hand grenade.
-
Their has been times when I've set up the perfect trap even shot one person three times with a Mida and they still survived my trip mine which was placed under the heavy box or as a way to deny them coming closer to me most people just walk though it and don't care cause they know their not going to be killed by it now if they kept the damage of the throwing knife in pve areas I wouldn't complain so much about that but when you can't even melee kill a vandal which you can easily do on warlock and Titan I just don't under stand why some classes have instant kill grenades and others don't it almost seems like a penalty to those classes without instant kill grenades cause they are not as good as the one with.
-
If people could run around with two instakill tripmines again then the game would be horribly unfun simply because you can get killed by some guy you never even fought
-
I used to love it back when cuase it rivalled the other subclasses and was fun to play with cause I could get the same amount if not more kills with it but I actually used my Titan and warlock more just cause I liked to get them done first in banner before having fun on gunslinger those were the days back when lightning grenades were op and we could truly deny areas on control.

It still easily rivals any other subclass, the difference is that it just doesn't play like a normal Hunter subclass because it isn't incredibly mobile, instead it has the sheer firepower to meet any other class head on if you know how to use it.
