Bring back Gunslinger to what it was. Why bungie nerfed gunslinger never made sense. No one ever complained about trip mines sticking or throwing knife kills...
Besides mayhem game modes it is probably the least used hunter class
1. Bring back unicorns-Let tripmines stick to enemies again
This took actual skill and accuracy
2. Not as important but Increase throwing knife damage back to what it was
3. Don't nerf subclass again
Response to some opinions below
If it is fine the way it is people would be playing gunslinger.
Almost no one uses it in trials, no one uses it in tournaments, and I rarely see it used in most crucible game modes.
Sticking people with trip mines took precision and skill unlike every other grenade in the game where you throw it in the general direction and it just chases enemies for days.
Yes it can 1 shot most supers but in exchange it is easiest to kill.

2 RisposteYou know what I main. The tripmine stick nerf was understandable. The damage nerf was just plain ridiculous. The grenade is now underperforming most grenades such as fusions and skips. Throwing knives need a serious buff for base damage.

Meh. I don't really agree that this was a nerf... this was just a balance update to make It more balanced. While i do not really agree with the tripmine nerf i do understand why they got nerfed. The only reason i can think why they got nerfed is beacuse everyone was using them and no one was using Incendiary. And swarm just sucks. But this balance update was not a nerf It was to balance the hunter class. Beacuse shadestep was OP and same with the smoke. They were nerfed and not to the ground. So Yeah.

I agree, they should also fix the other subclasses that have problems. Shortstopping with blade, recovery on blink, Voidwalker melee locking on but not registering damage randomly, burn not proccing on Sunbreaker melee, and Firebolt radius and damage are all things that can stand a tweak at this point. We're probably not going to see any of these things though...

Gunslinger is my favorite hunter class, don't really like the other ones. That's why I don't use hunters anymore. Hunters and titans seem consistant.

1 RispondiI've main Gunslinger since the year 1. Played nothing else but that class. Now I do miss unicorning poor titans that ran at me like everyone else, however that wasn't the purpose. Trip "mines". But tbh, you adapt. I did. All I do is run YAS in PVP. However Trips should kill OHK. And the knife should kill in a headshot w/ the burn. These things aren't going to happen however, because Bungie has rarely went back on a nerf. So what I suggest is that they should either buff swarm, give it something that is usable so it would be an option to some people, or take away that damn light. Or have the grenade KILL people instead of me relying on a HC shot to finish them off.

No unicorns that's op, why? Because it's a sticky that can also be thrown on walls to make a trap and timed denotation. U can have unicorns if magnetic, flux and fusion can stick to walls and detonate to

17 Risposteno for tripmine sticking. its not meant to be a sticky grenade(designed to be a trap). only thing it needs is a damage buff so at least it can kill medium armor players. throwing knife does need some buff. im pretty sure i recall ppl complaining about it in the past.

No there tripmine nerf was so swarm grenades got more use, hence the 3% damage buff to swarm grenades. Which btw makes it so they cant kill people still because the swarm doesnt chase one person when it gets triggered just the 1 single swarm tracker, cuz that makes sense right? Oh wait no one uses swarm grenades

1 RispondiTbh, one of the reasons you don't see many Gunslingers is because people would rather use Shinobu's or Wombo to get easier kills. The Gunslinger doesn't have as strong of a neutral game as the Bladedancer or Nightstalker, but it's still a deadly subclass despite the nerfs.

It take more than 1 second to activate, it gives you a light and sound warning signal before exploding. It's range and width is also much smaller than Lighting Sticker. Why would they let lowest armor possible guardian to survive this? They could have take off the face stickness of it, fine, but taking away its dmg is plain stupid. It's designed as a trap, atm if someone sees a red light on their way, they will simply slide/shade/dash thru it. They takes no risk because even if it manages to hit them, they will never get killed by it. Not to mention that this grenade can be destroy while you throw it resulting in your death. Someone made a stupid decision based on Mayhem Mode where those grenades were annoying. That's not how you balance the classes. PS: They tried to backup their "awesome" balance ideas by their 'statistics'. Sure. Show us how the stats looks right now. Gunslinger the most played subclass before. After 'balance' the least used? Great job with this BALANCE. ;) PS2: Not to mention the throwing knife nerf. They let half of the other subclasses run around with one hit melee or high aim assist melees, but throwing a parabolic headshot with a burning knife shouldn't kill anyone? Right.. ;) I loved gunslinger, but they killed this subclass. It's the slowest hunter subclass, so its hard to fit into actual meta, yet they took most of his good parts. All it got left is super. Meh.
