Poorly thought out end game weapons from raids are what was disappointing in year 2 for me.

Seriously! They took off elemental damage primaries, and all the Kings fall primaries don't have very good stats to compensate. The scout rifle is alright, pulse has very bouncy recoil, the hand cannon can either have good stability or ok range, and nobody wants to even mention the auto rifle. I get that they wanted to "diversify the weapons" so not everyone was running Fatebringer, Black Hammer, Gjallerhorn for everything, but come on! At least make weapons that are supposed to be challenging to get be actually good weapons to use.

To me if you're going to make a loot based game, the loot has to be worth grinding for. I love Destiny and can not wait for Destiny 2, but gear in general needs to be looked at for the end game. I absolutely should not be getting gear from Kings Fall just so I can infuse it into other none end game weapons. It's no wonder people use year 1 weapons in crucible, it's not that they are over powered. They were just simply...better. Take Diablo 3, it's literally all about the gear at end game. The devs do a much better job of interacting with the community and creating gear sets that are worth grinding for that actually make a difference to the skills you use. Bungie could learn a lot from them in regards to the importance of worth while gear to a community.
