Stage one: draw the bow (much like any other super's priming phase).
Stage two: release and watch it fly to target (it's an arrow, not a bullet).
Stage three: initial impact (begins charge as you would expect from a plasma grenade).
Stage four: tethers instantly reach out to nearby targets.
All of this within a few seconds. Seems pretty balanced in terms of time as it is; it's a support ability, not a nova bomb.

right, its not a crossbow, your character isn't legolas, so of course its not gonna be quick as heck. But still hella good support class

This occurs after initial impact (start of stage three). In this case, "reaches out" refers to "attaches to." The delay between the end of the charging phase and the growth of tethers to attach to targets is too sudden to accurately account for, so instantaneous was the best way to describe the tethers' reaching out.

You are right its definitly support... Bad suport since it lasts less then a few seconds but suport. Has bad animation anchoring too... As in you cant dodge or move while activating it.

I tend to drift while using it. And it lasts a good while so long as you keep feeding it.

Modificato da Plageron: 11/17/2015 10:29:40 AMthat's the thing....a player death gives it +1 second....not as much as a pve enemy....and you are still stuck in your animation anchor poses...with the decrease in your damage resistance because of it....I too have drifted and missed my targets many times....due to the shaking of the ground or getting shot....which seams to move you if you don't die right off. But you are still animation anchored....can be interrupted and stopped in those few seconds when you try to use it......in fact you can use up the super and get no result many times due to the heavy penalty they gave hunters on it. The worst thing is that the hammer ability from a titan engages faster as does the nova bomb and the lightning form. The hammer flies faster then the shadow shot at long ranges....thus if you shoot you can get killed by the hammer first and the shot will just vanish....same with the nova...I actually started shooting the shadow shot many times....and a warlock instead shot a nova bomb that killed me....first before my shadow shot completed the animation. And I have also been defeated a lot when a warlock saw me trying to use a shadow shot so they used their super lighting form and killed me before I could complete my shot. very annoying how an attack power is ten times better then a support power.
