The patch they put in a while back was to control what he sold. This is exactly what they did, they removed whatever he was going to sell but, they don't have the ability to put something back so of course xur will be back to his normal rotation next week.

Waaaay back in November / December they implemented a patch where they could do what they most likely did. Removed the weapon, blaming it on a glitch. They can remove items from what he's selling but, they said they can't remove the items perminately from his loot table. The five times the exotic engram was not there and the four or five times heavy ammo was not there. What will be interesting is that if there is no hit fix in the weekly then BungieVision basically lied once again, so we will see.

Where is the proof for this? Where did they implement a patch that allows them to remove stuff and you think they caused the heavy ammo drought
