Ok, so, about how "simple" it should be to fix Xur's inventory.... I play SWTOR as well. A couple of weeks ago, they released an item (a stronghold decoration for those interested) for 1 credit (in-game money). Well, they screwed up, and the vendor buy price was set at 100 credits. So, you buy one and sell it back for a 99 credit profit, a huge exploit on the economy. So obviously, they fixed that right away, right? Nope. Even though it could have game-breaking impact, all they could do was warn everyone that doing this was a bannable offense. I think it took a week before they fixed the vendor. We have ZERO idea how these vendors are configured in they database and/or infrastructure. If they say they can't fix it in a day or two, I have no reason to disbelieve them.

He did sell it and I couldn't buy it. The problem was, it was week 2 and I didn't have enough strange coins!

For the people who keep saying that he wasn't going to sell the gjallarhorn. What's your theory? Becaus the only obvious answer to me is that he was selling it and they took it off because they didn't want people getting. Because they're so lazy they made the chances of xur selling this weapon at like .00001 chance and buffed the other weapons almost insuring he it wouldn't be sold. And what happened? RNG took its course and it was picked and they had to do something about it so they took it out. Him selling this weapon and then taking it out is the only obvious answer. You can say what you want but I think it would have been fair and you people with 600 or lower hours saying people need to quit being noobs and begging for it need to seriously take a -blam!-ing seat. I have over 1000 hours played and don't have it and I honestly think I deserve it a little more than you do

The patch they put in a while back was to control what he sold. This is exactly what they did, they removed whatever he was going to sell but, they don't have the ability to put something back so of course xur will be back to his normal rotation next week.

You're in denial if you don't believe bungie removed gjallarhorn this past weekend. It's so clear a blind man can see it.

All i can say is wow, just wow. I am usually quiet when it comes to putting blame or talking bad about the company that has brought us a game that we are so passionate about. The past 30 days are really shedding some light about how different this company is currently. I have been a bungie fan since Marathon. All this drama as of late is disturbing, and now the obviously shady move with xur takes the cake. A little bit of honesty and transparency goes a long way with consumers. They used to understand that. I dont know if activision plays a part in this new, seemingly ambiguous and secretive approach to what is going on. It actually saddens me. I hope they get their act together soon.
