You bunk bums will pay $7.25 for a BigMac, and shit it out 35 minutes later, all whilst harboring a nasty tummy ache... This game will give you plenty of enjoyment, and will suck up many, many hours.
I'd pay $60..
Wanna' know why? I'm not broke, and I will get a ton of enjoyment out of it..
For all the Teenie' BOP Guardians, shut the -blam!- up, your parents will cover it.
Have children. Then you will realize how -blam!-ing miniscule $40 is...
Greedy bums.

Modificato da nukethecow: 6/16/2015 9:21:57 PMIt's not about being able to afford it. I can afford it. It's about the principle and this company raking its current customers over the coals when it comes to content and pricing. Maybe if this was the first misstep they'd made when it comes to dlc it'd be different. But it isn't. New customers should be thrilled getting that for 60 bucks. It's a fantastic deal. Making me pay $40 for just the new stuff while they pay $60 for everything is incredibly arrogant on their part and insulting to me.

It's people like you that encourage them(and other game companies) to penny-pinch every last feature and opportunity they can. I live in Canada, and there is an immediately noticable mark-up in at least my province. $40 is a Hefty price tag as it is, considering that that is probably the American price tag. You could literally trade in your copy of Destiny on next-gen and it would almost be worthwhile to get the legendary edition if you only had the base game, American-wise at least. The Canadian copies of new games, at least in my province, are 69.99 instead of 59.99. With provincial tax... It's almost exactly a flat $80 for a new game. The season pass was $35. I've spent $105 on just a standard copy and season pass to go with it. I'd be damned if I'm going to pay -blam!--knows-what, probably $50, for an Expansion that seems to be overglorified and has features that a majority of early/day one players already knew about and questioned why they aren't in the game as it is. Even better is I'm on Xbox, so I'm buying exclusives that I cant use in said DLC, but I digress. Long story short, cut the price to $30, or at least lock the price so Canadians don't get shafted even harder.

You sound like a Newfie. Just move to Alberta if you're having money problems
-
Lol Fort Mac is the new "Newfoundland" so many are already there I am in yeg myself.

Give me the whole box. I somewhat want Taken King to extend Destiny's sad playspan, but I've not the money and more important games to buy.
-
You assume that people complaining about the price are poor, which would be incorrect. Rather, people don't think there's enough value to justify spending $40, its fairly simple economics.
-
Simple economics? How many hours have you invested into Destiny? I'd be willing to wager at LEAST more than 200 hours... $1 measley -blam!-ing dollar for an hour of enjoyment? That's $200.00 right there... Time is money my friend. Your statement has been crushed.
-
Value is purely defined by the individual, boom your argument is "crushed."
-
That is exactly how i work it out. I have around 800hrs of playtime and still enjoy playing the game. It is by far the best value for money i have ever had. taken king already pre ordered and paid for
-
I understand people are bitter, particulary the day one players, for having to pay more essentially, than a new comer. However, they have to draw more "new" players for the game to survive. Which we ALL need in the long run. Bungie is counting on the Veterans, to foot the bigger bill.. Which we will, and clearly have done, this whole time.
-
I'd be fine with that if the incentives were better for all of us vets.
-
Great logic. Would you burn $50 just because you could afford to?
-
I would.

This man.

If you digest food in 30 minutes I worry about you...

I lol'd..

Michigan lol... DAT' TAX THO' (That's for the meal, of course.)

Modificato da Father Giliam: 6/16/2015 6:22:05 PMOk the real question here is.. where the hell do you live where Big Macs cost 7.25? A full Big Mac meal here doesnt cost that much.
-
I'm pretty sure with kids $40 would go to something useful like food, clothes or school not a game expansion.
-
Twins are fed. Clothes are fabulous. Apartment looks like something out of a designer magazine, and here I am, still buying the expansion. #dontworkatmcdonalds
-
And your BigMac analogy is irrelevant given the fact that your body needs to shit it out because that's what the body does. You can't hold it in just because you paid for it and enjoyed it. Try something else
-
The point is, you pay, everyday for things that have NO longevity.
Bye Felicia
-
The reason you spend over $60 on something is for longevity. You don't spend $60 on something that'll go away in 30 minutes. Your analogy made no connection to this situation.
-
Okay buddy you still live in an apartment
