So $40 for the entire expansion and $60 for the vanilla game+Crota End+House of Wolves+ The Taken King expansion!? Is this the right thing to do bungie?
Is there a benefit to new players? Is the DLC worth 40$? Is 60$ for the full package not a little to cheap for the content we (loyal players) will spend 135$ (in total) for? Also: Why do british people have to pay almost 60$ (40 English pounds), where other people need to pay 40$?
Did Bungie make the right choices?
Let us know what you think! (P.S: dont forget to rate this post up, so more people see and answer the poll :D I am curious)

Look I don't use dollars and I think £40 for the taken king and all dlc is wrong because its 40 dollars and it should be about 27 pounds.

1 RispondiThe Price is Right!
get what i did
I agree with the prices but not the content. They should have included the emotes and exotic class items for the people who already have the dlc. That's pretty fucced up that we have to pay $80 for for dlc we already have just to get those items.
-
Peoples hard work shouldn't be free in my opinion
-
2 RisposteTtk had got so much content. It's going to be well worth the 40 pound imo
-
Should be more expensive. Maybe around $150.00
-
I have never heard of a dlc above $20. Maybe MMO expansions are that much, but I doubt this will be an expansion, moreover it being sold because new subclasses that should of been playable at release. I stuck in ESO now, so unless Destiny comes up with something exceptional, bye bye Gjallahorn.
-
I'd prefer if there was a cheaper version so I don't pay for stuff I already own. I'd definitely love to pay about 50-60 but 80 for stuff I have sounds eh.
-
Won't know until I can actually play it. Even after it's released it's still completely subjective opinions.
-
2 RisposteHahaha I love it how all you dumb -blam!-s are getting the finger by destiny
-
We don't even know how big it will be. £40 for dlc is a joke...you can get a whole game for that.....will it be the size of a full game? Or even half the size? I highly doubt it. $40 £40 us brits are always getting screwed over when it comes to exchange rates....We always have to pay more for stuff than other people.....so $50-$60 for this dlc is certainly not worth it.....I'll be saving my money and getting FFXV instead.......at least I'll get more than a few hours of content out of my £40.

4 RisposteEveryone here keeps saying the price is fair since CoD DLCs are around the same price...20 bucks for less content or 40 for a season pass... However everyone here is failing to realize that it is the same company charging you for both?? Activision is in charge here people not Bungie...that is exactly why you are getting ripped off...just sayin
-
2 RisposteLol if you haven't made 40$ in one year then wow.
-
1 RispondiI agree with the prices, but i should pay less for the 80$ version because I own Destiny and both expansions
-
3 RisposteSo many little girls complaining about it costing more than ten dollars lol just give bungie a break and pay the money if you want to play it's a long time away anyway. (Just to be clear, I've been playing since the beta, and will still be buying the collectors edition)

5 RisposteModificato da AlmightyJosh85: 6/17/2015 9:42:03 PMOmg so many people crying. If you don't wanna pay 40 for destiny 2.0 then dont. What can you get for 40 dollars now a days? Not a whole lot. Save up now, that's like 5 dollars a week. Pay up or shut the heck up!!!!!

1 RispondiI dont have a problem with the 40$ tagon TTK. THIS IS WHAT REALLY BOTHERS/ANNOYS ME: The legendary edition includes: Game, DLC1, DLC2 and The Taken King. This is 60$ Now here comes the sad part: When you take away The taken king expansion (which is worth 40$ according to Bungie), there is only 20$ left of content in this 60$-edition. This 20$ of content, that is left, includes also: The game and the 2 DLC's. So we (loyal gamers) have spent on this same content: 60$ for the game and 40$/35$ for the DLC's. This is 95$/100$ in total. Conclusion: Bungie gives new players all the stuff we've payed 95/100$ for only 20$. Also, when we eventually want to buy the TTK aswell, we end up losing 135$ in total and they only 60$. Well done Bungie.....

4 RisposteModificato da Kafker: 6/16/2015 10:05:28 PMMost people are disappointed because they spent 100-110$ for a complete game (vanilla+tdb+how) and after ONE YEAR they are selling the complete version plus TK for just 60$. We spent 100$ for a game released with broken game mechanics, glitchs, bugs and other bullshits and they are going to get the fixed version plus more contetn for 60$... shame on Bungie+Activision and shame on who support this commercial strategies by feeding this companies. People never learn

3 RisposteModificato da satniro: 6/17/2015 1:01:59 PMBungie should offer original expansion owners the option to buy just the new subclasses without the TTK content. Since they are profit seeking, they should just follow COD's approaching and have micro sales of all the items in the game. How much would you pay for a Gjallarhorn? How much for a shader or exotic emblem pack? If Bungie is going to penalize the vets, then I would rather have the option to pick and choose how much I pay vs having BUNGIE PUT A GUN TO ALL VETERANS HEADS saying give me $40 for the new subclasses or wait until D2.
-
Don't see where people are getting $60 for the bundle... Cheapest I've seen is $79.99 for vanilla/current dlc/and taken king. Which makes sense. Most major games will release a package deal with all current dlc for about the normal price. This puts vanilla destiny and current dlc at 40 and taken king at 40.
if you don't want to spend money on a game and dlc....wait a year and buy the version that comes with dlc....not that complicated
-
I'm sure it's gonna be a very quality DLC but Jesus -blam!-ing Christ 40 dollars? That's practically an entire new game!
-
No! Way too much, destiny has been killed by profit seekers! Its greedy and excessive, I for one am definitely not buying it
-
We can't really say until we know how much content is in it
-
I have a question about pricing. Where is this information coming from? On psn the price of the whole thing is $119.00 , that's for the new one and original game plus all the dlc's. The new one is $39 , for just ttk. Not trying to sound dumb, but just wanted to know where these other prices are coming from. I understand that the price on paper looks different due to currency conversions, but the prices being quoted don't seem to match. Could someone please explain. Many thanks for the great input on here too.

It is expensive for day 1 players.
