Another method that I had just ran (and succeeded!) Is that you need these few things
-3 Gallarhorns (though not mandatory, but preferred)
-2 black hammers or snipers of the like
-1 guy to keep constant damage while snipers reload (explanation below)
-1 Titan with a weapons of light bubble
-a group of friend/team willing to try and try again if it doesn't work the first time.
So this is how it works after you grab what you need from the list.
As soon as the cut scene rolls through your Titan friend with the bubble needs to move towards the ramp down (though stay a little back from it) and drop his bubble. Then the 3 of you need to start dropping Gallarhorns or rockets you have on him ASAP (with weapons of light active of course). After you drop all your rockets, DO NOT go for another synth. After all the rockets, he should be down to about 1/3 health. Switch to a sniper if possible like Black Hammer. If you don't have one. Keep on your primary (I used vision of confluence and it worked great!) while your buddies are hitting him with black hammers you keep the pressure on him with your primary and weapons of light. If all works out like it did for my fireteam, you should have him down before he can even put up a suppression bubble.
Hope this helps anyone struggling with the Level 34 PoE boss! Stay frosty guardians.

Nice! That's great to hear it was a breeze for you! If any of your friends are struggling show them this post. Bacteria Sour has an excellent strategy! I just hope mines worked as well!

Hey, I'm curious .. you mentioned keeping constant fire on him and an explanation - but I don't see the reason. Did I miss something? I am genuinely curious.
-
There isn't any real reason to keep constant fire on him other than to take him down faster. So you don't have to deal with the suppression bubble. You can do what you'd like. I just hate dealing with Qoudron's* eye. * it is misspelled most likely.
-
Ah, gotcha. I wasn't sure ... I guess the way you explained it made it sounds like it was important to keep primary fire on him (kind of like some bosses / majors / ultras to keep their shields down)

Modificato da D1V1N1TY: 5/27/2015 5:21:59 AMWe did something similar just now ... 1 34 Titan Defender / 1 33 Warlock Sunsinger / 1 33 Hunter Bladedancer / 3x Gjallarhorns We struggled at first but then found this strategy. Here's my Titan Defender settings: I had Bastion, Illuminated, and Weapons of Light. I popped my bubble in the entrance doorway immediately before the cut scene started - this saved me time so I could immediately start throwing rockets at Qodron. We just kept hitting him with rockets - when I ran out, I started hitting him with grenades and Fatebringer while the other 2 continued to empty rockets. I went through 7 rockets, another guy when through 10 rockets, and the other I think went through 8-9 rockets. FYI: If you didn't know, Weapons of Light only buffs in the initial impact of Gjallarhorn and not the Wolfpack Rounds. TIP: If you mess up, have the Titan switch his last perk to Untouchable, equip any gear that gives super energy on kills, and use Bad Juju. I had my super back within 1-2 rounds so there was very little down time and a chance to get some ammo as well. Just make sure they switch back to Illuminated before going for the gold! :) *** TIP 2: If you go for the longer method *** Have one guy equip Super Good Advice (or all) and make them the "Jail Breaker". Super Good advice reacts the same way as it does with Oracles - hits don't count and the ammo goes back into the clip. It destroys the shields super fast.
-
With the buff to the initial impact to gallarhorn, it becomes the difference between a 1/3 of his health and 1/2. Thanks for that info too! I was always a little confused on that. And thanks for the other method!
-
Ty, another great method.
-
We cheesed it with warlocks. Ignore the eye and skolas him. Wipe when he detains you. One guy self revives and gets ev1 up. Rinse and repeat...
-
And yet another really intelligent method. Not sure if call it a cheese since the game allows smart use of abilities.
