I'm going to bring up a crucial component of the game that really helped keep player interaction for the individuals that were interested in building new loadouts every major expansion.
No new Fragments. No new Supers. No new Aspects. And if I wanted to play my warlock, I have to go through 3 campaigns or pay for a skip.
This honestly kills the momentum for myself. I have embarrassingly too much time in this game(20k between hunter and titan). For the few thousand players that are similar minded and still playing the game for the building portion, this expansion will pretty much clear them from the game.
I don't see my interest continuing more than a month or 2. I can generally find fun with anything, But the lack of anything new to do with the core mechanics of building, means there isn't a chance to find that fun.
I don't know anymore. I think It's time for me to go and switch to turn based rpgs. Atleast with gotcha games, I know disappointment is part of it. Keeps expectations grounded.
This was there one chance to drop a new narrative with a subclass, after the dungeon was complete. This would have pulled tons of players back. I guess it was always just copium.
I'll still be playing, I just don't see myself playing for an extended amount of time, like with previous expansions.

1 RispondiNo. We should have gotten resonance/luster in The Final Shape. Instead, we got Prismatic and that ruined everything.
