  • Then why have any laws at all? Let's take away all laws then, after all criminals won't follow them, right?

  • One dumb bitch governor of some state actually said if you ban guns and disarm the population then a shooter will not shoot unarmed people because that's human nature. People actually think that way and it's sad

  • Laws are like padlocks, they keep most people honest, but if someone really wants to break it they will.

  • Tell me more about how criminals who have access to firearms in places like Canada, the UK and Australia commit so many mass shootings and atrocities... You would have more incidents in one year in the U.S. than you would in all those countries combined in the same time. Stop trying to tell people it's criminals that commit mass shootings and just admit that the wrong people gain access to firearms. Something that gun control would mitigate.

  • If someone murders someone or commits a mass murder, they aren't just an average person. They are either mentally fûcking insane or a criminal

  • If someone really wants to obtain a gun to Commit murder, do you honestly think a gun law will prevent him from doing so?

  • Stop them? No. Hinder them? Greatly. It will drive the price of illegal firearms up on the black market making them harder to afford/acquire for your average criminal.

  • Are there non-criminals that commit mass shootings? Also please explain why there are still mass shootings in countries with strict gun laws.

  • Show me a developed country that has mass shootings or gun violence on the same scale as the U.S. If you manage to find one or two count how many those countries have had in the past 15 years. I guarantee you the U.S. has had more in one year than they have had all together. As for criminals. The latest shooting in California. We're the gunmen criminals? No, they were up until that point law abiding citizens. The aurora cinema gunman. Was he a criminal? No he was a law abiding citizen up until the shooting. The sandy hook shooter. Was he a criminal? Please tell me more about these hardened criminals committing all this gun violence.

  • lol America does have a lot of mass shootings but you have to understand that most other countries technically have less because of population differences. If you put America on the same population scale as most other countries, it has considerably less mass shootings. Gun laws really won't help anything because when it comes down to it, crazy people will do crazy things and there's nothing you can do about it.

  • No. You measure incidents per 100,000 population. America has more gun violence than any other developed country per 100,000. It has a honk code rate 3+ times higher than other developed countries. You obviously have no idea how it is all measured.

  • Source 1 read 2nd and 4th column, comparing US with other countries. Source 2 shows that the murder rate is 2-5 times higher than other developed countries in the first graph/table. Want me to continue? Did you even view the information before you posted it as all the data/statistics back what I have been saying...

  • I'm sorry you can't accept the fact that you are so terribly wrong, I hope your ignorance can get you somewhere in life (probably not). Go ahead and waste more time replying to me but it's clear who's right and who's wrong. Good day sir/Madame.

Lol this is data which you provided. The U.S. has 10-30 times more shooting rampage events than the other 9 developed countries listed. Cheka the number of casualties which in some cases is 50 times greater in the U.S. Then check the population of the countries listed and the time line. 2009-2013. Extent it from 2000 - 2015 and you will see those number out the U.S. well in front of all other countries in EVERY way. Your own sources disproved your argument. Obviously you didn't vet them too well. Especially your last source which talks about Switzerland. They have a large amount of firearms because ALL males must serve in the military for a minimum amount of time, and even after that they must keep their service rifle and such up until a certain age (in their 50's I believe). With that said they are all trained and have very tight gun control. Comparing Switzerland to America is the worst comparison possible due to the fact that all Swiss citizens have compulsory military service. That compared with the stats provided by the other sources paints a pretty obvious picture.
