Golden Gun in PvP
It is a bit too powerful considering the ease of use and duration. Needs to be moved in tiers for super cooldown.

5 RepliesI’ve noticed it lasts forever now, and whenever someone pops it, especially a good player, they’ll wipe an entire team in the blink of an eye two times over. I know it doesn’t have any extra health when in use, but it feels too oppressive, in my opinion.

I'd argue hammer titans. The D.R. a hunter has makes it have a counter. Hammer titans are a floating tank with golden gun explosions.

4 RepliesAs somebody who mained hunter for a very long time, it isnt the super itself that is better. Its the classes overall neutral game that has shot through the roof with solar 3.0, the neutral game being less powerful used to be the gunslingers downside. The downside just isnt there anymore.

2 RepliesNah, Golden gun has been too weak for way too long. It needs some time up in the top. It’s never compared to things like thundercrash, nova bomb, hammer, or chaos reach. All of which gain OS, and half of them can trigger health regen. They also last just as long if not longer (minus nova)

No it does not last too long. Sometimes I asked myself too "when does that super finally end?!" but when I be honest to myself before golden gun was no option bc every time the people ran just away bc the supertime was so short. The only thing they could remove (only in pvp) is the shots they get back after a kill.

11 RepliesIt's the exact same golden gun from the beginning. Bungie hasn't done a lot to change it. It's just people are using it this season because of solar 3.0. Wait till next season when arc 3.0 comes out. Everyone will be asking for unnecessary nerfs in PvP.

On fast paced game modes like momentum control. It lasts way too long. Sometimes I get killed by the same golden gun up to 3 times :/

I’ve mained hunter since d1 but with the 3.0 subclasses I switched to warlock for pvp and it’s so much better xd (better dodge and the dive that heals you is so funny) Golden gun is only op if you don’t know how to snipe like I get they can one shot you instantly but like just click on their head it’s not that hard it’s not like they are a dawn blade dashing around at light speed. And how is getting spawn killed golden guns fault xd
