  • golden gun is instant without drop, hammers are ballistic and take time and have a trajectory which makes them inferior. there is no adequate counter to a golden gun. there is no other super with the aim and shoot capability equivalent to normal gun shooting. no golden gun is superior in a load of ways to every other super in the game.

  • The counter to GG is a freaking wall. That's all it takes. You see it in the feed that it's active. Go behind a wall and they have to come to you. And they're so bright that you can see it through the wall as they get close to you. Shotguns, fusions, anything with Vorpal, etc.. Saying there's no counter is a just false statement.

  • this strat is the same for all other supers really. its not actually a counter, its an evasion. which as a strat i use a lot when i hear golden gun.

Also Golden Gun has no super armor and the version that does has just a little bit of damage resistance to where you’ll survive 1-2 more shots. Its no ones fault you try contesting it in the open at long range, if you fight it at close range youll have a easier time taking it out

    I'm going to press you on the "muscle memory" bit. A trajectory means that you throw it, it goes up over, and down to the "moving" target. therefore it takes time of flight and a guess as to where it might land. by that time the enemy will probably have moved and your hammer misses. when you throw it, you cannot modify the trajectory. THIS^^ makes it inferior to the golden gun and the golden gun is instant, it does not matter if the target is moving.

  • really? your understanding of the game mechanics seems to be lacking. your assumption of my personal time playing the game is totally irrelevant to the discussion and a poor riposte to any discussion. you completely missed the point of the discussion. knowing the arc of a grenade or hammer does NOT mean that the enemy will be stationary the whole time and when you throw said weapon it takes TIME to get there and can easily be avoided. Golden Gun is instant and can hit no matter what you do to avoid it. you do not need to "know" the arc or anything else, simply aim and shoot. goodbye.

  • Throwing Hammers does not one shot other Supers. It takes two at best. And they can be dodged fairly easily. GG is hit scan and gets regen. Extending what should be 6 shots to 9 if you're lucky.

  • GG needs 2 shots, or a headshot on 3 shot goldy. Difference is that any other supers will 1 bang a GG

You are thinking of the old hammers that wasn’t a combination of all hammer abilities

  • No I'm thinking of Solar 3.0 Hammers. It'll OHK a GG and maybe NB but it'll take 2 hammers to put down anything else. Burning Maul is a OHK against anything that isn't a Daybreak or Chaos Reach Warlock or any other Super that depends on being aerial.

  • You are supposed to lqnd the hammer at their feet to OHK supers not direct impact since it sends the other hammers a distance away, if you land it at the feet you take the AoE damage the hammer makes and the 4 other tiny hammers that come out of it that the shatter does
