The majority of the community wanted connection based as all of the games were too sweaty before and it made people hate pvp. It's infinitely better now that there is connection based and making it skill based would kill the community once again. I enjoy not having to sweat every game and to be able to just play for fun. So does the majority of the community.

  • I'd like to see the actual majority that you guys like to keep saying. You chose to sweat your matches you didnt have too, if your gonna make excuses use a better one.

  • I dont sweat in my matches unless I play trials. I only play for fun now. With skill based every game was sweaty and toxic unless you were at the very bottom of the barrel for skill. Im more than fine with linking posts and reddit forums if you are unable to look them up yourself

  • You just make excuses you sweated because you wanted too not because you had too. See if you didnt care then all you would have had to do is tank your stats and it would have knocked you into a lower bracket. You didnt do this for the simple fact you want to seen as better then bbn others. See there are plenty of ways around Sam's setup you just didnt wanna do them cause it would have affected your stats.

  • No I definitely had to. That doesn't make it any less annoying though. I don't see the point in tanking stats. If you aren't trying to get better then why are you even playing. If you were on the extremely low end of sbmm I can see why you enjoy it and why you wouldn't want to have to try in your matches. But for the other 99% of the player base, it is a massive improvement on a long outdated system

  • Yea because facing players that provide an actual competitive game is out dated. You sweated because you wanted yo you didn't have to cause you wanted yo win and inflate your little stats. You like cbmm simply because you face less skilled players and still get to show off your little stats. Cbmm has ruined the pvp in this game.

  • I mean who plays to lose. It seems like that's where your issue lies and you aren't trying hard enough. And I also play people who are better than me all the time. It comes with the territory. It seems like you need to find a new game that you can enjoy and based on what you said and your account, you couldn't care less about pvp in Destiny. So let me ask, why are you even here?

  • Hate to break it to ya but unless you jump back to when sbmm was in I never touch pvp unless i need pinnacle, or forced to play it for quests or challenges. Even when cbmm was in the game majority of players never touched it the mode. It literally took bungie removing sb for players too even play cbmm. That should say something right there.
