Base threadling damage is actually very good. The problem is just that it’s better with the fragment, so why would I build into threadlings on prismatic warlock. Buffing all threadlings has two problems. First, you’d still just go to strand when you want to use them. Second, you’d still make strand warlock threadlings a little too potent, especially when paired with Euphony.

They also completely screw over prismatic Threadlings by not allowing spirit of the swarm to unravel targets. That's part of why strand is so much more potent. I'd be cool with adding Threadling damage to one of the fragments, or giving you the buff when you equip Needlestorm. (Personally I think it's a MASSIVE missed opportunity to have prismatic supers not give you something for that affinity For example, not having equipping a void super give echo of vigilance, or the solar super give, ember of emperyan.)

Honestly, I'd give it both then have base swarmers spawn a tangle at your location when you deal damage in a rift. Kind of like Cadmus ridge lancecap but for strand warlocks
