Suspended - was stuck in orbit
Just some feedback, suspending quitters is a good thing. However, I jumped into control, went to orbit ready to play then nothing happened. Never joined the match. Got kicked out the game. Then I was given a 5 minute suspension. I realise it's not a long wait but this should not happen.

1 ReplyMe: Leaving a match because I was forced to join late (again), our team is down two players, and the other team is up 50 points and has supers. BUNGIE: Here's a five minute timeout for quitting. You just sit there and think about whether or not you really want to play. Me: Huh... Well -Blam!- it. I guess I don't really want to play this poor pvp meta with broken matching.

9 RepliesQuitter penalties when loading into a game where it’s 6v3 and the other team has their supers is not fun. I’m ok with quitter penalties but bungie needs to fix the matchmaking first. Also 6v6 quick play should not have quitter penalties.

Exact same thing just happened to me, when things like this happen it just pushes me away from the game.

Same happened to me. First a match times out and i get sent back to orbit with a weasel. Next I lose 5 games in a row that we had no chance to win. Then I get put in a lobby that was down 3 players and was getting beat 60 to 20 with supers in tow. Didn't quit but I wanted to- the irony is then getting weaseled again afterwards and getting a 5 minute time out. Moral of the story- um not exactly sure , I like torturing myself I guess?

I received a 5 minute time out when I went to orbit at the end of a control match a split second before the score was displayed. I'm sure I ruined everyone's day.

The laughable thing is that they are willing to ban players due to quitting because the devs actually consider this game competitive. What a joke. It's so imbalanced, it's an arcade shooter. That's why they made join in progress. If someone wants to leave a match for whatever reason, there should be zero penalties. It's a damn social playlist in a game with no competitive scene because the game is too unbalanced.
