Yeah, I'm going to say it, Solstice just sucks
Solstice of Heroes used to be so much fun years ago, but now... it just sucks. I hate it. And even if the layoffs never happened, Solstice of Heroes still sucks. It's just not as fun anymore. Plus, the armor are all so ugly, and despite the new bow is just an ugly and shameful reused asset of the bow from Season of the Seraph, it not worth getting. *sigh* I was hoping I wouldn't vent again, but... whatever.
Oh, yeah, one more thing Bungie. Once you get new employees and better leadership, bring back the Black Armory. I'll keep saying until you morons actually use those brains of yours and bring the Black Armory back from the dead. And, no, I refuse to getting the Into The Light version of Blast Furnace and Hammerhead because those versions are ugly and they suck.

Edited by AOSpare: 8/11/2024 6:12:33 PMEven the event card rewards suck. 1 bow and some enhancement cores and prisms. They used to put more weapons as rewards on them and they've reduced that. Plus once you completed armor sets and glows no reason to play bonfire bash. All double perk weapons drop from bounties.

1 ReplyI haven’t got a single solstice rocket to drop. It’s like 80% bows, 15% HC and 5% shotty. I wanna see if the rocket with bipod and reconstruction will go up to 4 in the magazine.

I went all the way to the armor glow, probably because I never lasted that long in any of the solstice events. I figured it's probably time I did it in year 10, lol. So uh..where to I get my "ball surgery with a rusty soup can lid" emblem?

Temporal events and season passes are one of the worst thing this game ever had, its not new with some few and good exceptions they are mostly designed in a hurry.

Solstice always sucked. Not to mention how many times they suckered everyone for "new armor" and then made that armor obsolete a month later.

1 ReplyEvery event bungie had is a waste of time and sucks. It's all about how much money you spend on everpurse and how grindy it is. They can never release something fun and rewarding that doesn't require you to sink a ton of hours to get something that will be trash by the time the event is over.

Not even bothering with Solstice this year. If I jump back in, I've only ran one so far, it will be just to run it for something different as there's no rewards that are worth wasting time on! The one and only thing I want you have to pay for and as fun as the squid/cuttlefish sparrow is I still like my hoverboard more. TOTAL TRASH THIS YEAR!!! Can't wait to be disappointed by FotL this year too :(

Which is why I stopped caring about new events in this game long ago. I only played a few matches of solstice only because I wanted some XP. I knew they were gonna make some ugly armor Eva still around... Brave Into The Light is where I mostly spend my time and is where I belong.
