Yeah, I'm going to say it, Solstice just sucks
When you turn an event into an overgrind and add a bunch of unnecessary tasks while promoting Eververse, and on top of it cut the BD in half plus add other items to an event that can only be purchased by buying silver.
It doesn't just suck, it shows how disgusting this developer is compared to some other developers.
Events are supposed to be for the player base to show appreciation for supporting them.
Edit: It was never this bad in Destiny 1, and this garbage is why they are losing the player base. You people who think Sony is going to "help this game" better take a good look at what they have done to F2P games, forcing people to buy a subscription to play portions of F2P games that have been out for a while.
This is how disgusting Sony is, and on top of it, you have this Bungie who is more than willing to milk the player base. This is exactly what you are "supporting".

What's hilarious to me is that bungie has always been this greedy with monetization and it was actually Activision of all people awhile back that told bungie to cut back on how much they were trying to monetize the game, just how greedy do you have to be for Activision to say "hey that's too much monetization"

I don't mean to be rude to activision but that's what they get. They basically caused everyone at bungie to quit or get fired and replaced them with I'm assuming people they trained so if the people they trained ended up being greedy it makes sense.

I wish this were true but that isn't the case. Bungie fired Marty O'donnal and tried to rip him off of what was owed to him and they lost in court. Joseph Staten quit a year before Destiny 1 was released because Bungie scraped his story. Others left to go work with 343 to work on Halo. Others wanted to pursue their careers because they knew they wouldn't get anywhere under this Bungie.

Back then people were blaming it all on Activision, and now it worse then it's even been. I get the need for it, but damn, there needs to be a limit.
