ALL That is in trials is elite players is completely false. if you are at 0-0 95% of the matches you get will be against 0.5s, sure you will match sweats every now and then but its rare. And btw there are barely any good players that are farming low win games, with the new loot system there is not really much reason to do that if you are actually good. Iron banner is not end game pvp I'm not even gonna talk about that one, its just control but with a different announcer. And you know what would happen if they made it 7 iron banner wins? the same people complaining now would be complaining then. The people complaining are complaining because their skill level is so low that they cant get 7 wins in a gamemode, you really think there wouldn't be just as many posts about IB and how SBMM should be back and solo queue etc etc. I don't think the idea was to present a challenge as its really not a challenge. I could understand the outrage if it was 5 wins on a card or something but its not, its 7 wins on infinite cards, if you are complaining about this you are most likely complaining about every game mode that's not patrol. Granted I do believe that bungie could have made the requirement 14, where wins count for 2 and losses 1. But I still see this as a non problem
, if you are complaining about this you are most likely complaining about every game mode that's not patrol. Granted I do believe that bungie could have made the requirement 14, where wins count for 2 and losses 1. But I still see this as a non problem
I am not complaining about every game mode. It's just this trials 7 win requirement. The option you suggest to make it 14, wins count for 2, and loss count for 1 is more reasonable, at least in 14 matches you know you will be done. Just because I voice an opinion on Trials issue doesn't mean I am complaining about everything else, or would be complaining about everything else. I do pvp when I need to for certain guns, and there are guns I have skipped and not bothered to do, I understand how pvp is and some guns I just won't get. I don't have an issue with that. This is about Trials. I have played it a little. I don't enjoy it. If I have to do 20, 30 or more matches to get 7 wins I don't feel that is worth my time. Hey if Bungie doesn't want to reconsider this 7 win trials, then what am I to do? I am voicing my opinion, there are plenty of people that don't enjoy Trials, and not even play Trials. Just seems Bungie continues to not think things thru when they try to implement a harsh step to acquire something.

Not wanting to play trials is completely understandable. But look at what you're missing if you don't do it. A little glow on some boots that only works on 1 set of gear. Not liking pvp/trials and not wanting to do this step is completely understandable. But you cant ask bungie to just remove stuff that you don't like doing if what they are asking you to do is not inherently terrible. Because as you hate trials, there are probably those out there that found the gambit step miserable ( hey that's me) too. Bungie gave a reasonable step to complete the armor set, now you are free to argue that it is not reasonable and I am happy to listen.

clearly you dont' understand how trials works, who plays in it or the actual game play. Take a look at any top player.. their stats go DOWN when playing Trials this indicates a higher skil level within trials because they play more skilled players. You are allowed to believe what you like, the facts point to a different conclusion than you are willing to see.

Yes trials does have a higher skill level, but what you are failing to realize is how trials matchmaking works. How trials matchmaking works is based off of wins, and you could almost think of it as an open tournament. On the first game there is plenty of people and the games are usually around the same difficulty as a QP match. However the further you go in the card weaker players get weeded out more. So if you are at the beginning of a card, there has been no pruning thus easier games. And you telling me I don't understand how trials works is quite comical considering you have only ever played 4 trials games.
