Sad? No, he's being logical. What's sad is this community is made up of hypocrites. People here bash Bungie to no end and when a trailer like this drops, its "all aboard the hype train" and then back to bashing Bungie when you guys aren't satisfied. What's sad is investing nearly $200 for a game with all of its DLCs that try to justify selling you back old content and that was stripped from D1 and you guys just accept it. There's two extremes in this community. People that bash Bungie for the heck of it and those who will accept anything Bungie does. I want year 2 to be great but it is not unreasonable to point out the truth of the matter.
