Not buying a game before its even out is like not buying a 2017 camero just because you didn't like the 2000 camero...

We don't get to try D2 as a release, before buying. We get to try less than 1% in the beta. If Bungie heeds the advice of the best reviews, feedback and critiques, then implements changes for the player base, then we really are playing a beta. If the changes are minute, then we're playing a playable demo. In the end, fanboys will love it; hate-filled players will hate it and some (hopefully many) will voice constructive criticism.

If they lose me because of the new design it's quite alright, as well. I can always hope for better changes. I'm sure the community is divided. I've already posted my feedback and critique.
