So are maps too small, making shoulder charge too effective, or too large, making snipers too effective? Hmmm, or maybe whiners need to shut up and learn to counter.
English
-
You can't counter something you can't see coming
-
Isnt it obvious by the idiot running at you and not shooting, or were you too busy aimed down your sniper scope.
-
Can easily be mistake for a shotgun warrior
-
Whats the difference? If its a shotgun warrior hes gonna kill you from farther away. Both scenarios youre dead because you didnt pay attention.
-
Actually you can aviod shotgunner easier as they dont have a lunge, can be jumped above, shadestepped away from, blinked away from, and garrisoned away from Shoulder charges aim assistance makes is so all of these situation are a trade at best for the victim
-
I just jump backwards when they carch me off guard.
-
Yeah as do i but lunge is a bit much
-
Use your radar and toil see them coming.
-
Radar doesn't say what class they are now does it
-
No but it tells you someone is close and you should do something about it instead of sitting there with your thumb up your arse.
-
Sorry but you can't jump over or shadestep away from shoulder charge. Blink doesn't work half the time anymore The fact is you can't counter shoulder charge like you would for a shotgun warrior
-
Uh you can run away you can shot gun them you can snipe them, nade them, primary if you have a line of sight. Multiple options they are not immune to damage.
-
Running away from something that has a lunge? Not gonna work Sniping? Not everyone is TV Shotgunning? If you see their approach which is unlikely Primary? Only primary that can kill in time is suffering from phantom bullets at the moment I dont hate shoulder charge. I just think that it shouldn't be as spammable as it is. It is something that should be used more tactically rather than crossing a map quickly. I am a supporter of it using a melee charge as this would stop it being spammed. Also this would allow for the monte carlo exotic to be used more
-
Are you sure about it using a melee charge? Consider the following- Tier 5 strength, which is relatively easy to get right now, gives a 25 second cool down on melees. Then consider that one can spec overload for a whopping 9.5 seconds on their melee cool down. Science! Would this really make it any less spammable?
-
-
What do you mean yes? Yes as in it would make it less spammable, in which case I disagree because you could still have a 10 second cool down on storm fist, or yes as in it wouldn't?
-
I.e if you use shoulder charge you waste storm fist. Makes other exotics more valuable in the process
-
But you would get it back in less than 10 seconds? People would just use tier 5 strength and overload instead of giving up an exotic slot just to continue doing it though.
