Barely, and this was also the only place I could think of where it might help at all.

the only 3 that help on crota hard is skullfort(health regen) armamanetarium (who doesn't want to grenade spam) and ruin wings (if it decides to drop heavy ammo for you and if you don't do the heavy ammo glitch)

You mean crota CP, right? Saint 14 still saves teams in the abyss. Unless you are cheesing it, then I suppose it doesn't matter. But if you do the ammo glitch with ruin wings on Crota, you can't even shoot all the rockets. It's awesome, I love those things. Personally I don't love grenade spamming. Arma is one of my least fave exotics. Started out my fave, but it fell from grace after the Templar cheese was patched, haha. Ruin wings always are better imo. No grenade is better than 4 Gally's per ammo box.

Edited by wok75: 3/4/2015 4:38:03 AMmagnetic grenades are pretty op in that raid especially on normaly since 2 of em can kill a shrieker so no need for rockets or 1 nade and about 8 word of crota bullets also flashbang and supressor grenades are better than defender bubble with saint 14

Eh, I prefer the bubble. And I've done this raid a lot and have soloed normal (without cheesing abyss or bridge), so I'm probably not going to change my ways now.

do you class standing up on top of a rock a cheese in the abyss?

That one is iffy, I've done it both ways, but being on the ground is much much harder. I'm more talking about the jump up from 2nd lamp. Cheddar cheese.

i hardly do that one i do stand up on the rocks at the end on hard mode (tried saint 14 on hard standing on the ground it wasn't nice) will have to try it on normal but on hard mode saint 14 isn't viable

No I mostly just ran and used Icebreaker or Fatebringer, but armor of light with saint-14 is pretty much invincibility on any difficulty during abyss stage.
