Dont know how well this could translate to bungie (we all know how they interpret our wants), but maybe have a slight "delivery" charge so it isnt completely broken. Just an idea, dont hate it too much

No I understand. You want to make it to where people would prefer to visit the tower because it's cheaper? So, charge a little extra through the app?

Yeah, that way it still benefits the players who actively play more than those that just want loot. Also, Bungo will like the incentive to continue playing the game
