The grind for those stupid cores nearly has me at this point too.
If bungo wont remove them soon, they'll loose more than just me, I guarantee it. Also, Anthem...

Don't hold your breath on Anthem. The verdict is in on the demo and many are disappointed to say the least. Things aren't looking good for Anthem.

Yeah, I'm disappointed too. Too many loadscreens and boring missions. The gunplay feels weak too and the enemies are -blam!-. I just hope Bungie gets their shit together and fixes some of the economic system.

You really dont get it, do you? So for example, if I get a good rolled chest piece at 670 and I want to use it when I reached 700, I need to infuse it, right? Also I have to use lots of cores to masterwork it. If I'm lucky, I will get the same chest at 700, so I can infuse it with glimmer. But to get there, I only can use the random drops, which makes my guardian ugly af again and with useless perks. Until I hit 700 we have to run around like trashcans again, because we cant infuse. How is that not a problem? Same for guns! And which RPG has a stupid system like this? None...

Well there's your problem you're trying to masterwork a chest piece. And it sounds like this is entirely a cosmetics issue. Which in the grand scheme of things not that big of a deal. Also Borderlands doesn't Mass effect doesn't There's no infusion at all. Chrono trigger doesn't I think out of the 18 final fantasy games only 1 has transmog. Most rpg games don't do what you describe.

How is master working something a problem? I'm max rank, that's the only thing left to do. Also, all those other games you mentioned never force you to use shitty stuff, just because you need the power boost. Destiny does.

Masterworking armor is pretty much a waste of cores. And rpgs do the same to varying degrees. Borderlands for example. You could keep using that level 5 god rolled pistol at level 20 content, but it's going to hurt you more than help Or you could equip that level 20 smg with crap perks

It's easy to get cores especially if all 3 characters are maxed out. Stop spending them on everything you get and you'll quickly get a lot. ;)

While I agree with you on your opinion of the state of crucible since you have the numbers to back it up. Unfortunately, your numbers do not back up your current position. I don't and never have ground Spider's bounties, nor have I ground the scrapper bounties, and yes, I do have a ton of extra cores (460+) and they come easy. I wrote a long piece to a fellow gamer on how to both get up to max on 1 character while stockpiling cores without having to grind endlessly. It was custom tailored to his particular circumstance which may not be the same circumstance you have but the basic principal behind the how can be applied to almost everyone. and as to to the originator of this response to which we are referring - I say good riddance and enjoy another game. there is nothing wrong with playing multiple games, there is nothing wrong with trying something different, there is also nothing wrong with the current resource economy of this game. and if you want to talk about a grind - I just got Jotunn last night - went into Volundr and ground out 500 kills for the triumph - was in with a clan mate that had the rare bounty in which you need 50 forge charges, or otherwise, need to grind 25 forges - so it wasn't wasted time on either of our parts. would you care to argue that the experience we had last night was Poor?

Oh WOW!! You managed to max out 1 character that quickly... a Hunter aka Easy Mode ... you didn't even try to grind if you're below 600 with 2 characters. :"( Play more, whine less!

No its not! You have to run old lost sectors over and over, do stupid bounties (rare drops and from spider) and hope for luck by dismantling gear. Yes, its not hard, but tedious and stupid. If they would drop from strike chests, public events, raids, anything, it would be ok. But forcing us to do boring old stuff to infuse new gear? Oh hell no Bungie

Haha, thanks man. But I get back on the grind tonight, so hopefully I fill them up a bit. I also did infuse a lot of stuff lately, because I just did reach 650 on both my lowbobs. Now I need to save for next season :)
