Hey guys,
I recently uploaded a video to YouTube, introducing my "All About Sniping" series. This episode here is the first one, dealing with the topic of "Aim Practice". I hope you guys enjoy it and that it helps you improve your markmanship.
Cheers, Roman
By the way, the second episode can be accessed with this link: https://youtu.be/QUifkl4-XFo

Just watching some of my sniping footage in pvp (in between practice of eye level in patrol) and had to slo-mo some clips cause I'm surprised I even landed them. I realise there's aim assist, but one particular shot I looked way too far off to the left and got a headshot. Actually I just reviewed the footage even slower and it appears as though, while being under fire, the slight flinching while in scope "allowed" me to get a headshot on him. IE. I must have pulled the trigger just as I was being flinched and got the headshot anyway. My gun has unflinching, but I remember it saying that it's just reduced flinching with the perk.

I Watched your series, good job.. I do wish the thitd bideo about pressure had been a little longer though..
-
Hi folks, The third episode is now available. It shows you a way on how to deal with pressure. Best wishes, Roman

I've just started bringing a sniper into the crucible, so thank you for the advice, I'll certainly try it out. I've yet to get a headshot in the crucible with a sniper rifle xD Thankfully the RoF on my sniper is enough that I can take two successive body shots. But as you mentioned practice makes it better. Another thing I have to work on is being a bit more aggressive. As right now, I feel I am standing in one place or one area more with the sniper ready kind of thing.

Awesome video. You're the type of guy I usually hate going against in the crucible lmao. I find myself yelling at the screen "BS, nobody's that quick with snipes" lol. Learned a lot from this, going to try patrol practice tonight. Thanks

What sensitivity do you recommend?
-
At launch I was very good, but as I started shotgunning I lost my skill, recently I dropped the shotgun forever and I'm good at sniping again. My tip: put away the shotgun forever
-
I'm astonished by the positive resonance I've hit with my video. Thanks a lot, guys! I sure look forward to creating and uploading a new episode!
-
Wait... you mean this video wasn't just tips about Felwinter's Lie?
I kid, I kid.
-
I'm sorry man but I don't see anything in your video that can help someone be a better sniper. Just my opinion.

Edited by ShadowStrider09: 8/23/2015 1:12:19 AMLol this was supposed to be instructional? It was just you bragging and getting a boner over yourself getting a few snipes XD At the end when you attempted to teach you just ripped of KJhovey and True vanguard

Very good vid. Thanks for the tips

I've been using my sniper exclusively as my special since day one and it's really nice to see more snipes in the crucible recently. I LOVE super duals!
-
Shoot at head level? No shit, otherwise you won't get a head shot.

Edited by ThePhenomxx: 8/23/2015 4:19:37 PM@2.:22 ''you can even wipe the whole team, wow amazing'' lol that's cause of the stupid OP thorn not a sniper. just thought I'd point that out but still love the video not hating on it.
-
That was really professional. Nice job. I recommend that you cut down on the montage at the beginning though just to keep people's attention you know?
-
Personally I don't really need this, but it's very good to see sown community members be supportive and helpful rather than toxic
