I enjoy getting together with my friends and working goals that each player needs to accomplish. I like jumping in patrol and exploring the different landscapes. I like the grind. All MMOs are grindfest, if you ever played one, you would know that. And if they keep coming out with DLCs that can further the story and give me quality areas to investigate like the raid, Im going to keep playing.

I like the game due to the endless possibility of drops. But then again I've liked grinding games since diablo 1 and it's continued through to nextgen gaming. I look at destiny with a evolving story that will some day in the next 7 years have a considerable amount of content and will earn it's place as a great game. The game is in rough shape. The story is pretty narrow right now and it needs more highlights and information but honestly? Games like this. Or like Everquest borderlands world of Warcraft dark age of Camelot swtor all these games start with 1 chapter and normally have ended with many and a evolving always changing story that unfolds over years. It's like reading a book really you can read one chapter and be happy but as you slowly get the rest of the chapters you learn all the secrets all the small details I feel like destiny right now does need a fair amount Of work and I'm looking forward too it. This is coming from a person who hated halo so I'm not some bungie fan boy nor am I a activision junkie. But honestly? Your going to belittle a game because it's not doing what you thought it would in the first month of release. In my opinion that makes you a narrow minded -blam!-wit with zero patients and a lack of maturity Grow up and give the game some time to evolve and expend before you judge it. Your the same type of person who will open a book read the first page and say "nope this book doesn't have what I'm looking for".

There is nothing endless about the drops... They have a limited amount of items in the game. Borderlands has a weapon generator, Destiny does not. I just keep getting the same guns and armor to throw away over and over again.

Uhh however they endless drop like in diablo? you can find the same stuff over and over In Borderlands as well not to boot almost everyone has the same gear on in borderlands games cause they like all games have end game loot tables that are pretty much set in stone. oh and ps. Dropped weapons and armor in destiny can have stats that very compared to merchants etc

I know how the game works. Endless is just a bad word to use.
