Im actually incredibly interested. How is it still fun playing the same strikes and raid on repeat?
Whats the point? To grind out better gear(or grind out leveling up gear) so you can play the exact same strikes and raid against the exact same enemies with more health and increased damage?
Destiny is a very interesting social experiment considering eb/gamestop is giving $40 for destiny trade ins.

Coming from someone who played the same two invasion maps for two years, when you find something that strikes a chord with you, no amount of reasons can change your mind. True, the game had some frustrations and Bungie/Activision haven't made all the right decisions, but the gameplay is still beyond fun for me, I can see the potential in the story(and the dlc are paid for), and honestly I agree with most of the updates to the game since release. So despite everyone's frustrations (including my own) I have no intention of leaving the game anytime soon.

8 commentairesModifié par FairlySplendid : 10/15/2014 4:25:07 PMI play with a group of guys that are readily available, positive (glass half full) and fun to be around. So we have a good time and I rarely play alone. Destiny is a VERY subjective experience and is what YOU make it. I'm outgoing, optimistic, social, jovial by nature and play to have fun. I surround myself with like-minded people. I'm having a blast in Destiny. Plus, I take the time to learn and understand Destiny's mechanics, so that I get the most out of my gameplay experience. I always know where to go and what to do. So I don't waste time walking in circles or get frustrated because I don't understand what I'm suppose to be accomplishing. Most importantly I generally stay the f*ck out of the Bungie's public forums. This place is a cesspool of but bad vibes and negativity.

1 commentaireI have the digital and it's a good enough time sink to limp me through till Dragon Age: Inquisition comes out.

4 commentairesEverytime i play a strike i do it slightly diffrent.. take a diffrent wepon set in, try an alternative approach and genrealy keep it intresting.. that inline with reasonable upgrade paths mean the pve side has plenty to it. if i ever get really board i can go into pvp which is diffrent every time. Playing with people always makes the game diffrent becouse your more willing to try new things

1 commentaireTrading in today towards AW pre order. Gotta do it. MCC is already paid for or I'd put it towards that.

Modifié par Howie : 10/16/2014 3:54:00 PMI enjoy trying out new weapons and ways of playing and get a kick out of levelling up. If I only enjoyed pve or pvp the novelty would have worn off weeks back - which is likely the case for many people - but i like both. When one starts to grate I just flip over to the other and vice versa. And because it's Diablo meets Halo - dangerous combo for some people!

Cuz its fun. Im still collecting legendaries, and I will be for a while. Also just got my first exotic (thunderlord) from doing the Nightfall, Im a level 25. So I'm pretty stoked for the rest of end-game!

1 commentaireNovember 11th, then this game is gonna drop like a rock.

You can't trade in a Digital Download.

because i like it ...

1 commentaireIt's the new Halo, the multiplayer is practically timeless and you can continually find new gear and guns to bring to the crucible or play through the many story missions and strikes.

Oh my goodness what's with all the used game bad for the industry garble it's a pointless argument those against and those that are for it and some who just don't care I for one like used games there more economical for a father of four plus I buy a game for $65 play it figure I won't play it again trade it in for $40 basically I only loose $25 not bad when you consider it just wanted to give my opinion I just can't comprehend no matter the argument that they really loose that much money on used games besides they say most game sales and profits are in the first 3 weeks so if there game is on a used sales floor it's really should be bought used so the makers can't make anymore just saying

5 commentairesBecause Borederlands pre sequel is just too damn horrible. Couldn't stand it within 20 minutes of the game.
And yes I spelled borderlands incorrectly...on purpose.
4 commentairesBecause I like it? Someone's obviously never played Runescape.... Dat grind tho
-
Because A. It's fun and B. It rustles the jimmies of all the 5 year olds crying on the forums

4 commentairesThis is stalker behavior. You and your girlfriend break up... It's over you hate each other. You can't get over it and move on. You linger and can't stop thinking about her. It's sad really. Move on dude.

Mine is Digital, I'm stuck with it.
-
Because i will never 'trade' anything in at a games shop. I am not going to take part in perpetuating a system that damages the gaming industry, and offers little to no value for myself, or other consumers.
-
I didn't trade it in I'm just not playing it and waiting for good updates.

6 commentairesWhy haven't you, OP?
-
Because I'm enjoying the hell out of it. Very few games have gotten this much time out of me, most only get 8-10 hours before boring me. I'm averaging 5-6 hours a day on Destiny.
-
1: had faith the game was gonna be good so bought ghost ed 2: not completely bored or 100% on achievements (-blam!- pvp so prob won't get the related ones) 3: I don't sell my games... Know I'll just rebuy em later

Modifié par IZeromusI : 10/15/2014 9:39:19 PMIve grinded WoW for over 6 years before Cataclysm ruined the game for me. Grinded in EQ - Grinded in Rift - Grinded in FF14ARR - Grinded in SWTOR - Grinded in DFO ( Dungeon Fighter Online back when it was under Nexon).... So yeah grinding aint something I would ever complain about. I love to grind actually. So there's your answer! EDIT : Also Digital is non-refundable :)

I bought into the hype and bought the Expansion Pass. Now I'm stuck with it until the DLC is released.

I like it. I don't need any other point other than I find the gameplay fun, the actually running around and shooting part.
