But also applying Dark Powers better and with Light Powers. I mean the healing was just amazing and the ability to now actually go back and forth from Dark Jak or Light Jak was a plus. My only complaint was how situational Light Jak was in 3 and Dark Jak being just a constant tease in 2.

I was only too young to have any complaints about the games, aside from difficulty and bullshit (cheap deaths that weren't my fault). What do you mean, "tease?"

That how in Jak 2 going Dark Jak was limited in time, gave a lot of destruction, but took a lot of dark eco to store to allow you to transform. So you either tried to wait for the right moments to use it (which were very few) or you used it every now and then to deal with a lot less than what is capable.

I rarely used Dark Jak in Jak 2. It's too rare and difficult to get enough dark Eco, and not enough payoff. Jak 3 gets it right with the good power ups and a energy bar. That kamehameha style dark bomb is the coolest thing ever.

Yea, thats was the other option. Barely ever using it...I wonder if Naughty Dog will ever revisit the possibility of Jak & Daxter again.

I honestly hope so. I've often thought about this. If they do revisit it (which they should sincerely look at), they need to do it right. Play with more of the origins story of Jak. I don't want Jak going to the future, I want him going to the past. If Naughty Dog doesn't make a new one, I'd love to see Ready at Dawn take a swing. I really feel they could be the Reclaimers of the Jak Mantle. Lol

Modifié par Phantom : 8/13/2013 9:53:50 AMThey have thought about it. When making Uncharted they looked back at Jak and thought of concepts and ideas of the game. Trying to evolve the game with their new techniques and styles they learned from their time with Uncharted. That they wanted to bring Jak & Daxter back but providing something new true staying to the roots of the franchise. Eventually they felt they were changing too much and the concepts started to not feel like Jak & Daxter so they stopped and have said they may revisit if they can make the game new and fresh but staying true to the roots.

Yes, I am aware of what they almost did. (That is not something I would've wanted). It's because the guys who were pretty much responsible for Jak and Daxter no longer work for Naughty Dog. I don't need fancy graphics. In today's age, they could whip up a decent sequel to Jak 3 in a good 6-8 months of development.

But at least they knew not to release a Jak & Daxter game with it not really being Jak & Daxter
