In my opinion, Broodweavers don’t feel like a summoner class. There just aren’t enough ways to build into threadlings. There aren’t many perks for doing so. I think that adding a fragment or two that give buffs to the player for getting kills with or summoning threadlings would help a ton. I also think it would be easier to build into if there was an aspect that made threadlings spawn from unraveling enemies.

Apotheosis Veil. I have an insane threadling build.

I think in general threadling generation on Broodweaver is fine (although the new fragment hurts that potential really bad compared to the other two). However their utility comparatively to other verbs in strand is debatable and definitely falls flat in comparison to what Voidwalker, Stormcaller, and Shadebinder can do in comparison in terms of minions utility. Although I quite enjoy Broodweaver compared to Dawnblade and shadebinder, it simply just isn’t competitive enough to any of the warlock subclasses to feel useful.

I think threadlings need a buff they are so slow and in PvP when they start the jump to attack it’s way to easy to run away from that. Also the tracking of the super is so freaking bad compared to blade barrage.

Modifié par Spicy Water : 6/3/2023 3:50:38 PMYou don’t? I’ve got a grenade that makes threadlings, a rift that makes threadlings, a super that makes threadlings, a fragment that makes them better (which admittedly should be the default imo), my boots make tangles make more threadlings and also make them better, my strand weapons make threadlings on rapid/precision kills and have a chance to create one on any kill because of another fragment. Hell, I could make them on finisher too if I didn’t want woven mail fragment, grenade regen fragment, and just didn’t think that I already have more than enough threadling sources in my build. If my weapons, super, grenade, class ability, finishers if I wanted and tangles which are built into Strand ability kills already spawn threadlings, do we really need more? The literal only thing missing is melee, and I don’t think every single ability needs to be able to summon threadlings Tl;Dr no we don’t lol, maybe buff threadlings to what thread of evolution does and make that fragment even better or something idk

What game are you playing dude? I've always got my little friends running around.
-
Dude my Threadling build is shockingly strong particularly in PvP and I didn't expect it at all.
-
I don't main a warlock and I always have bugs all over the place, sometimes even more than I can carry around...

Modifié par G0lden Hunt3r : 6/2/2023 5:05:20 PMWhat? I always have multiple threadlings running everywhere. Maybe your build is just bad. Threadlings move faster and do more damage. Weapon kills make threadlings . Finishers make threadlings. Damage charges nade. Swarmers. Both OG aspects. Have a hatchling gun I always have at least 1 threadling running around. When finishing an ultra or champ you make 4 threadlings.

Modifié par Infamous067 : 6/2/2023 7:29:05 PMWe don’t need more ways to make them, the weavers just need an actual buff. Believe it or not its fairly easy to make the weavers, they are just so inconsistent and their damage is laughable in end game content. The fragment should triple or even quadruple their damage output, if thats too OP then at the very least bungie should make them far more consistent. Make them more aggressive and have them travel even further and much faster with an increased radius.

Modifié par Keythe : 6/2/2023 8:46:22 PMI would also recommend some Vesper of Radius builds, except they seem to have disabled it in higher end content last I heard. But, it's a fun exotic to use when you get threadlings and arc blowing stuff up around you with your rift. Of course, I am not a good Destiny player, and I usually do things just because they're fun. Someone else may be able to comment on the viability in high end content. (edited just to say, it's similarly fun to use Vesper of Radius with stasis for the same reason)
