My problem is the gos final boss is going to take a lot longer cause you cant shotgun it efficiently and you most definitely cant sword it

I mean, assuming Whisper doesn't get the flat damage reduction as well, it's a very consistent two phase. And if that's a huge problem for some people, that's their fault. Most other games with "raids" give the boss so much health it CAN'T be one-phased, so players should count themselves lucky the option to one phase exists in the first place. Also, we may be getting other buffs not mentioned yet. Too early to call anything.

With the right mods and strat, you’ll one phase with ease.

Im sorry you only have one way of beating the GoS boss efficiently :( Id blame streamers and players who watch streamers religiously for indoctrinating Izanagi's burden as the only way to beat the boss.

I dont think they intend Linear Fusions to be the next weapon to use. Its the same thing as a sniper and they said they thought snipers were too safe. Wouldnt make sense. There are other ways to easily melt the boss. Probably easier than Izanagis.
