I dont have that problem. Im on a ps4 slim due to the fact using a pro on a standard high def tv is a waste

On the X here, and loading weapons and swapping them does not take any time at all Loading the Game on the other hand, gezz its slow no In-game loading between areas or anything like that loading between maps at times is a crapper, but apart from that, the game is fine
-
Starting the game takes a few minutes. The middle pad that shows bounties, roster, etc takes like 3 seconds. Nothing else takes long for me at all unless its on bungies end with connectivity errors. Im im ps4 slim which just has more memory than original ps4.
-
Interesting. I'm using the standard PS4. Is the Pro actually that much faster with load times? I know PC is fast, obviously, but curious about the Pro.
-
I have a Pro and it’s still slow. Can’t beat respawns and also can’t change loadout prior to matches starting once you know the map. Very disappointing actually.
-
No idea, i have a slim not a pro. Slim just has 1 terrabyte of space. Memory card i believe is same at 8 gb. Storage also i think 1 tb. Difference is the pro processor runs over twice as fast but still doesnt use an ssd hard drive. I would wait for ps5 or another new console to come out in a year or so.
-
It just depends on the game. In games that have frame rate issues (like Red Dead Redemption 2), forcing the Pro into 1080p runs it much better.
-
I'm currently on a Xbox one S right now loading just takes about 1 minute 8 seconds
-
loading your weapons, or loading into the game, or loading into a match? what are we referring to here. i see people saying get an ssd drive but that isnt really going to help a ps4 slim much as i already have way more memory than i need, and you are still limited to what the ps4 slim is even capable of.
-
Plus if I were to buy a ssd how will it work? Like how will it improve my Xbox when it's something I am having to buy for my Xbox? That's also what I don't get. Like do you plug it in to your Xbox or what?
-
You can plug it in or swap it with existing hard drive. It isnt going to help framerates, internet speed. Its just going to make your console faster. Ssds are not used in consoles because the cheapest ones are well over 100 dollars. Normal hard drives cost easily a half to a third of the price.
-
the cheapest ones arent well over 100 dollars man what you talking about? Internal SSD's cost a lot less than externals. The very best internal that money can buy, the samsung evo 970 plus, is 94 dollars for a 500gb. The cheapest ones are like 30 dollars lol
-
Ps4 slim and pro do not come with a 500 gb, and i wouldnt recommend that low of storage to begin with. Im using like 300-400 gb and barely have many games on my system. The 1 tb models are 100+ dollars from what i just checked. Regardless, my point is an ssd drive is more money than a normal hard drive which both the pro and slim use, why? because they dont want to spend 100 dollars on just a hard drive when they want the system price to be something someone could buy with tax money, or even out of a weekly paycheck. Anyone i know could not afford to buy the system without saving (which isnt always possible) or just spend half their check and be broke after bills are paid
-
Yeah, hopefully for console users the new consoles are a huge step up. They seem to be from the leaks, but at the same time they also look like they're going to be outdated in a few years if the specs are correct. Good old double edged sword again. Also, i've got pretty fast internet and it's never really bothered me having only 500gb in my ps4, it can be annoying sure but it's no big deal unless my internet sucked.
-
It wouldnt be an issue for me either, but mostly all i have downloaded is gta 5 as i play that very occasionally, a few f2p games, destiny 2 w all expansions, some ps plus games like cod modern warfare if i get bored, and a few streaming service apps. But for people who can afford to buy brand new games every few months or less 1 tb is definitely needed.

Modifié par Vexx : 8/1/2019 4:04:30 AMlol i disagree sorry man. i have 67 games on my ps4 and only 4-6 downloaded at any one time. if im feeling like i want to play something else i just delete something and download it. Sure it was annoying if i had the urge to play said game RIGHT NOW but it still only took a few hours. If i used some foresight and thought, yeah i feel like playing Fallout this weekend, i just download it in sleep mode overnight or something. I also would only really keep destiny and fifa on it 100% of the time, so i would always have space for 2-4 random games. Probably once every couple of weeks i would see if i was likely to be in the mood for those other games and if not then download something that takes my fancy. When someone has like 60+ games even a TB of space is not going to make a difference, it's still going to require you to plan things out or sit there and wait for a download
-
I agree with that, no way to keep that many games stored on hard drive. I cant download massive games whenever, i have a 1 tb per month cap and the woman streams a lot 😂
-
aww damn that sucks. I thought most internet providers these days had unlimited caps, well i think most in the UK seem to. I don't think i could live like that, download 1 large game and 1/10th of your allowance is gone. Feel for you bro
-
Its only a few dollars more for unlimited but my bill is already a third of what i make in a week so i just deal with it. I dont use 1 tb but if i downloaded games like you do i would need 1 tb+.
-
I don't care about the internet speed or the frame rates my internet is fine and the frames rates well ehh. But it's the actual loading that is the problem. So either plugging it in or replacing it should do something at least right which would be better?
-
Actually all 3. The match takes the longest
-
😂 i cant tell if you are being serious, obviously a match would take long. they usually last close to 10 minutes in normal crucible.
-
Modifié par I Deku UA I : 7/30/2019 3:21:02 AMNot for me the loading to planet to planet takes almost 2 minutes, switching weapons takes almost a minute, loading into matches take almost 15 minutes
-
loading into a match will never be quicker because you have to wait for everybody in the game to actually load into the instance before you are spawned into the match. I have the absolute fastest SSD that money can buy in my PC and some games it still takes a couple minutes to load in because everyone is waiting on Jimmy and his 2004 toaster
