It's really bad how slow it takes to swap weapons and stuff. I'm just exaggerating with the 40 seconds because at times it can feel that way 👌

2 commentairesi open my menu all the time just so i can look at an incomplete page. it makes me feel like i think faster than the game can produce.

I love spawning with 0 in the mag then getting shot by one bullet of a gun while jumping off the map to respawn for ammo, getting them a point

Obligatory switch to PC...

Was having some issues with my ps4’s HDD occasionally locking up (as well as issues with storage capacity) so in order to play games without having to constantly worry about crashes that might cost me tons of time spent in games that require you to save your progress, I purchased and installed a SSD. This happened the third week into Opulence, so I saw first hand the major difference in load times for menus while doing the Menagerie chest cheese. Loading into solo events is much faster and this also carries over to some match-made activities (strikes, forges, but not pvp), but it’s a bit odd to load into Strikes sometimes twenty seconds before the rest of the fireteam does. Unfortunately purchasing a brand new SSD for a ps4 isn’t a viable option for many players due to cost concerns, but if you need to replace your HDD anyways (or have enough disposable income to buy one just because) then you should be pleased with the results... After spending several hours writing your old HDD’s game data onto a high capacity external memory device, ensuring all your saved data is uploaded to the cloud just in case, downloading the ps4 OS onto a seperate external memory device, removing the HDD from the system, installing the SSD in the system, resyncing your controllers to the system, installing the ps4 drivers onto the new SSD using the second external memory device through safe mode, downloading all of the patches to the ps4 OS you’re missing on the SSD, adjusting your system settings back to how you like them, writing the game data on the first external memory device onto the new SSD, and downloading all your saved data from the cloud... It’s also a bit of a time investment as well, did I mention that? i might not have mentioned that / (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)

Lucky, it takes 43 seconds for me

5 commentairesModifié par PilksUK : 7/30/2019 8:06:25 PMAnd here I thought the 2-3 seconds it takes on PC was bad glad I dont play on consoles lol But yeah D2's file system and memory management is terrible their engine needs updating badly I mean the game is nearly 100GB were as a game like FFXIV which is massive is 35GB or warframe which again in scope is bigger than D2 and thats around 10GB... Bungies Tiger engine sucks.

2 commentairesBefore you head down the SSD road check what SATA type your hardware has. If its SATA 3, an SSD should improve menu loading times. Not all SSDs are equal, check out Samsung EVO 860 👍

takes 1 second on PC :)

Me it’s my favourite thing about this game!!

Console problems :(

i love tht they said they fixed it , but really they didnt and have ignored the topic ever since.

8 commentairesIt's unacceptable how slow everything is. There's no excuse for it and no other game (besides Anthem and that barely qualifies as a game) has this issue. You shouldn't have to fork over 100 bucks (SSD) to improve it a little.
-
Slight exaggeration, but I hear ya. It takes 4 full seconds to open my menu (PS4), during a Crucible match. Then several more seconds to change guns, as long as I know what I want ahead of time. All of which is painfully slow during a PvP match. It almost always ends in me getting killed.

2 commentairesand you are blaming game? you sure it's not your xbox.
-
2 commentairesI mean you gotta pull it out from your weapon case, attach the weapon sling and adjust to your comfortable profile, check clear, check your sights to make sure they're working, load the magazine, -blam!- the weapon, then put it to safe. So yeah... 40 seconds...
-
I’ve been pushing to extend it a full minute since Destiny 3 launched.

3 commentairesDo you not remember the Xbox360 days. “Hold on guys. Let me hide behind this wall and wait 4minutes to load a Heavy Synth”. Lol
-
Wish mine only took 40 seconds. Usually takes 60-70
-
1 commentaire40 seconds is a bit of an exaggeration but yes Destiny is slow in the menus. I get it though. The 5 or 6 seconds it takes feels like an eternity when your in a match and your trying to change your load out before you respawn.

3 commentairesModifié par Alphard : 7/30/2019 2:38:52 PMIt use to take me that long (my Xbox is a cement block), but then I got a cheap SSD and all of that changed. (Only 45 bucks). Literally takes 3 seconds for the menu fully to load. No more loading walls. No more taking a year and a day to spawn in. To top it off, now I load in FASTER then my husband and he's on an XBox1X! Rather then upgrading to the XBox1X when a new gen of console is on the horizon, buying a cheap SSD will solve all those issues. Our old cement block XBox1s just don't have the juice to power this game efficiently. It was seriously such a huge difference that I wonder why I haven't gotten one this past year. Let me know if anyone wants a link to the one I got.

23 commentairesI dont have that problem. Im on a ps4 slim due to the fact using a pro on a standard high def tv is a waste

Only benefit is that because I know my screen center, when I switch to a pulse rifle I go off. Why do you ask? Because for that 40-60 seconds while my gun isn’t loaded in it has perfect stability... PERFECT stability guys...
