Opening Bright Engrams gives me that sense of Pride & Accomplishment, whereas getting weapons and gear from activities do not.

I'm still mad the matrix got taken away. Sure, it was mostly filled out almost every week, but it gave free players a way to get something they didn't have before. Also, the armor isn't purely cosmetic. Sure you can definitely find the same rolls on other armor, but still. I get that revenue is important, but they need to look at it from the players' perspective. It might be just me, but when a game gets too "needy" I feel a lot less like spending my money on it. When a game is fun and rewards me without making me feel like I NEED to spend my money, I feel more inclined to spend money on that game. Not only as a way to get what I want, but also to reward the developer for making an enjoyable game. I love this game, a lot. But my money is important to me. I don't make a bunch of it and I have a huge amount of other more important priorities. So convincing me to spend money on shaders, emotes, and ornaments just isn't going to happen.

Yeah i did'nt like that they took the matrix away. Honestly....i would forget i had a consumable for it multiple times. It did come in handy cuz it added to the overall experience. I dont spend money on the engrams though. The only time i do is when an emote is locked out of the loot pool. I was aqay for crimson doubles. I feel like i missed an emote though.😭😭 If they don't tranfer to D3 i'm joining the Dark Side! Traveller don't respect my Light smh!

Yes you can! The only thing you can't get with engrans is the exclusive bundles. How is a mockery to the players the company add cosmetics items? If you Wana buy, do it and if you don't it's ok because is not gona impact your experience. The problem with eververse is not the items or engrams, is the overpriced prices.

Current season emotes, ships, sparrows, ghosts, etc. are only obtainable through the luck of RNG, and if not obtained, have to wait until they might be added to the general pool. It's not a huge deal, but it's a major factor to why I will not be spending money on silver. Especially with all the bugs and no refunds. Sorry, if I'm gonna spend money on a 2-year old game I already spent over $100 on, it's gotta be worth it.

Wut!? Each season, everything in eververse can be obtained with engrams! Dafuq are you on dude? The only thing that you cant get with engrams is exclusive bundles like you just said! Either way, like you said is not a big deal anyway.
