How about some skill consideration in matchmaking? That’s the real issue. Almost every match is a blowout.

Yeah, both Crucible and even Gambit suffer from blatant snowballing more than half the time. It's bizarre and testament to my distaste for pvp, especially when the dev behind it seems to have no idea what they're doing.

Decisive wins and losses just feel boring and disheartening. It’s a game after all. What’s more- close matches are exciting by nature.

Indeed. The current state of pvp and even certain pve activities is why I rarely bother with many of them unless they offer a daily or weekly reward. There's an issue there if it takes that to actually make me want to play something.

As of now-trials, quick play and iron banner all use the same connection based matchmaking with zero consideration for skill. If trials was the pinnacle high intensity competitive mode then why does quick play which is the so-called casual mode use the same matchmaking? Few think about that. It’s disheartening always having to sweat against players way better or mashing potatoes.
