I just played six games of Iron Banner, and got stuck with a team of randoms against a team of six clan mates every time. It's bad enough that bungie's matchmaking is slow, repeats maps frequently without letting you vote, and doesn't have dedicated servers, but it's even worse how poor the team balancing is. Embarrassing for a multi-player game in 2018.

1 commentaireSame for Gambit, faced a full team last night with teammates o my side quitting at the start. We lost big time and faced that same team in the next match to loose big time again. And this repeated three times more until i quit myself and rejoined Gambit a few minutes later. To face that same team again....

1 commentaireThe mechanics of crucible in all ways is just broken and terrible. Naps are to small and base dmg to shields is way way too low. Lower crit dmg and raise dmg to shields. Take away the mini nap in all crucible modes. The mini nap system is the worst part and the most way way to fix pvp. Weapon and talents are extremely imbalanced and the base of how crucible works is forcing you to basically duel OK corral style. Taking away mini maps will prevent an entire team that just stacks and team shoots, taking advantage of the broken aim assist that forces you to change targets, often right when you're during a kill shot. The mini maps worked in D1 when the maps were large but when you can warlock or Titan boost across an entire map in less than 10 secs and everything is built to funnel you, having a mini map breaks any type of pvp. In short lower shields in crucible to prevent super cheap tactics like charging at someone because you know the impossibility of them getting enough rounds off to kill you before you can slide and 1 shot from 15m away. Taking away mini maps would provide so much more balance in crucible because you can't charge around corners Willy nilly thinking you can just shotgun and shoulder charge. Not knowing where you opponent might be is competitive. Forcing people to have high noon duels when there's 3-5ppl behind your target with the reticle changing targets in it's in takes away your ability to play skillfully and strategically. It does leave you having to rely on metas and broken mechanics that haven't been fixed since D1.

1 commentaireModifié par Fujimoose : 10/20/2018 12:32:44 PMSbmm is only good for solo playlists. You could still face stacked teams. And depending on the fireteam leader's skill itll either be a very fun match for the rest of the team or extremely aggravating. That also goes for the team they're facing as well. If the fireteam leader on a stack of 6 has a low skill but the rest of the team is high it'll end up being a pubstomp for the other team. Because sbmm only matched the fireteam leader's skill. That's how it was in d1 and it wasn't fun playing pvp with friends. I played solo more. In d2 it's the opposite. Solo can be fun and frustrating but playing on teams is fun. I want the solo experience to be better but I'd like to keep the experience with friends fun as well. We need more solo playlists besides rumble.

5 commentairesHow about some skill consideration in matchmaking? That’s the real issue. Almost every match is a blowout.

3 commentairesI play solo so I know how it goes but it changed almost drastically this Tuesday. I was running pretty much a 60 percent win rate then all of a sudden the matches just got ugly. My KD average over the last 25 games dropped from 1.6 to 1.4 and my last 11 games I went 1 win and 10 losses. And the ELO spread was from 300-500 every match with me being randomly selected to be on the losing side nearly every single match. And most of those losses are quickplay. Nothing like knowing you are going to lose before boots hit the ground.

Had that with Gambit. Also, where I would end up as a team of two against a team of four THREE TIMES TONIGHT. It doesn't matter if someone comes in, because it's already too late. And people wonder why I hate pvp

See bizzarely, Iron Banner hasn't been that bad for me solo - competitive on the other hand has been awful
-
What matchmaking? There's matchmaking??? Nah.. not buying it 😉😋😂

3 commentairesQuit blaming mm for your solo experience just stop you're going to fight teams a lot. Use lfg or join a clan or whatever and get your own team this is ridiculously annoying at this point

Iron banner is free for all level advantages are enabled getting stomped happens in pretty much every game what can u do?

4 commentairesHonestly, I feel your frustration. We’ve all been there. There’s an easy way to fix it and Bungie never has to get involved. Just plug a mic in and join game chat. I don’t mean you specifically, I mean all of us. I’ve complained about the same thing in the past, but then I thought about it and there’s absolutely nothing stopping us from talking to one another. It’s 2018 and it’s safe to say that the overwhelming majority of us have headsets, we just never use them. We all did it in the first COD games and Battlefield but not in Destiny, and that’s always kind of baffled me. If we all did that then it wouldn’t matter in most matches. Bungie gave us the tools to communicate we just don’t do it. Maybe if we all start preaching this, than we can fix our own problem.

1 commentaireModifié par parallelish : 10/19/2018 12:36:31 PMplayed a match last night where we were 6 randoms going up against, wait for it.... 1 guy! after a few minutes there were three people on the other team and the match finally ended in a mercy (20 - 90) and they still only had four people. it wasn't fun, spent most of the match running in circles not even being able to find the poor bastards. awhile back bungie said they know about a bug where skill and connection aren't being factored in when matchmaking and that they would monitor the health of the playlist and maybe fix it. then they try all these ways to force people into the crucible with clan bounties and what not, then since player numbers go up because of it they think the health of the playlist is fine so they don't bother fixing anything. either that or they just don't know how to fix the bug, both seem pretty plausible to me. Edit: if you look at my game history it looks like the enemy team had 8 players lol thats because people would join the one lone player then leave right away... i know i would.

5 commentairesStill haven’t seen this matchmaking and I play a lot. If you are being matched with god tier 6 stacks so much then you have to be pretty good. But clearly you aren’t. There is an inconsistency or two in your story

I've made a thread just like this multiple times since year 2 started. I still believe turning off SBMM was such and idiotic idea. Who in their right mind is mentally damaged enough to think it WAS a good idea? the dumbasses
-
I was playing solo with a full clan on my team and carrying them. It was so sad.
-
3 commentairesI almost always play with a full squad and ive noticed that whenever I do we play mostly against randoms but whenever were missing 1 or 2 people we play full clans???
-
Yesterday I landed into two matches where there was only 1 person on the opposing team that’s how bad matchmaking is. I then went on an 8 game winning streak beating two full teams! They must have been really bad! But all of a sudden it came crashing down and I am matched against full fire team after full fireteam. You think this is bad, I’ve been trying to get to fabled in compet for 3 week straight playing and all I get is full fireteams with lunas!! Absolutely hate the way crucible is in destiny, it really sucks!!
-
They will never ever do anything. In D1 it was already an issue and it is still the same. They decided to pander to a very tiny but vocal community of streamers and YT who enjoy posting videos with 50 kills, etc... All these players clamoured against SBMM in D1 and Bungie, as with many things in Forsaken, elected to please them. Hence the state of Crucible today.

Modifié par Speck311 : 10/19/2018 9:17:51 AMMy buddy still plays and I grudgingly did the same. For 2 matches my bullets actually killed people. Then in typical Bungle fashion their manipulations kicked in (I wasn't even doing that great) and about half or less of my bullets were hitting the targets. I pulled up DumaOS and especially have to wonder why the matchmaking saw fit to try and pick up a few players from Africa. Get rid of PVP. Bungle sucks and doesn't know what the -blam!- they are doing.
