Hey all,
Yesterday, we announced the goal of removing time pressure associated with Glory ranks, and that Pinnacle Crucible rewards will be awarded via quests starting in Season 4.
Redrix’s Claymore will remain exclusive to Season 3. The Redrix’s Broadsword will be available through a pinnacle weapon questline in Season 4 offered by Lord Shaxx. To set expectations, here are the quest steps that must be completed in order to acquire Redrix’s Broadsword:

Modifié par LeijuvaFlatus : 8/17/2018 11:58:23 PMI like it. There's new guns to earn. I would've waited tho at least one season before you put this in the game...
-
Considering the number of people cheating to obtain the redrix, I'm perfectly fine with this.
-
Modifié par TJ_Dot : 8/17/2018 11:55:22 PMLong, and possible if you "Put in the effort", good.
-
That looks beautifully brutal. For me anyway. I don’t care much for pvp but I could see trying to complete that quest for a great weapon. And no pve steps! The way it should be. Things are looking up.
-
So vigilance wing

I loved crucible in destiny and would play it all day but I can barely stand to even play it long enough to get the powerful engram in destiny 2. So needless to say I won't be getting this gun. Please make crucible better!
-
shouldve been hit rank 5 on glory :(
-
Modifié par BPDrej : 8/17/2018 11:46:30 PMDo these have to be completed in that order or can they be consecutively worked for Edit: nvm just saw the tweet
-
I can't stand competitive, but I'd prefer if it required wins like the original mountaintop.
-
Modifié par Riot : 8/17/2018 11:27:06 PMLet's say I complete step 1, does that produce progress towards a later step, such as step 4? Edit: Tocom responded to this question on Twitter with "Clean slate. Earn it." True grind <3
-
Yes! Thanks! This actually makes up for those who have gotten it! Getting it is still a grind nonetheless
-
That seems like way too much work for just another meh! sword. Reset valor 5 times? That's only if you give lots of triple week bonus's
-
Question: will resetting your valor rank before you get step 8 still count?
-
Think the early meta will include VW? ;)
-
Will these be able to be completed simultaneously?
-
If I reset my valor rank before step 8 does it count for step 8 like the Solstice Armour?
-
Modifié par Ray : 8/17/2018 11:39:43 PM5 resets. Welp this is gonna take a while. Hope it’s worth it EDIT: do I have to get to step 8 and THEN reset 5x or do the resets while doing the quest count On another note. This is a good way to grind the VW catalyst
-
The only think I hope it is account wide quest. So i am not Forced to play crucible on 1 character for the complete season.
-
Thanks for posting this. It will definitely be a long grind for sure but I'm excited for the challenge! :)
-
Modifié par TwoFace : 8/17/2018 11:27:13 PMIs step 8 retroactive like how becoming Legend was for Solstice? I will probably manage to reset 3 times before getting 75 double kills edit: it seems to track resets once the quest hits your inventory for that season, so the answer seems to be YES https://twitter.com/Tocom11/status/1030593394286854145
-
😂😂😂 I knew it wasn't going to be easy!
-
Thanks for the info, doesn't seem too bad. <3
-
This seems proper. It's looking to be an interesting grind.
-
Rumble? Yuk.
-
No thanks.
