So I think many of us can agree that destiny 2 is way to similarities to destiny 1 and not in a good way. So many things are exactly the same and doesn't make the game feel like a sequel. However, this can be easily changed seeing as how the game is still pretty young and easily open for changes, big and small. I have compiled a list that could offer a lot of new things that could change the game and make it feel like a sequel: 1) Bringing back SRL- the highly popular sparrow racing game mode was a lot of fun with the players back in D1. Unfortunately it only ever happened twice and it wasn't for very long. So in D2, it could either become a monthly thing like Iron Banner or Faction Rallies with rankings, or just a permanent thing. 2) space battles- Our spaceships in Destiny are nothing more than glorified loading screens. So how about we make them useful. How about engaging fallen ketches above Earth? Or stopping a red legion fleet from landing on Mars? Space battles would definitely add some spice to the games. 3) New areas on different planets- we may go back to D1 planets like Venus or the moon sometime in the future, but exploring different areas on the planets we have would be much appreciated. I'm sure that many of the new planets have more places and areas to the ones we are limited to, so I say let's go check them out. 4)New damage types and subclasses-as fun as void, solar, and arc are, I want to know how else guardians can channel the light. And with the traveler having reawoken this can easily be implemented. Some examples could be like water themed damage, or stone. Or better yet, how about making some class exclusive damage type(s) 5)Stop making everything fair and balanced- Bungie please understand this, D2 (and D1) are MMOs. With so many people playing, it's gets boring if everyone looks basically the same and can easily do all the same things. You need to let players have fun. So what if someone is crazy op in PvE. Let players live a little. If a weapon is op, so what? You can easily restrict all this stuff in PvP, (just looks at Warframe, their pvp loadout system is completely different from the pve system). We are immortal space warriors for crying out load. Let us have gear that lives up to that name. So this is what I have so far. Please feel free to comment ideas you have and what you think of mine. And let's try to get Bungie to read this stuff. We are Destiny's community. If we're paying Bungie for content then we should have a say in what content we are getting.
