Hey, there.
Tomorrow, we had planned to conduct the final stream prior to the launch of “Curse of Osiris” to show off some of the weapons and armor the expansion includes. Instead, we are investing all our efforts into delivering some higher priority information about Destiny 2. You’ll hear from studio leadership about their assessment of Destiny all up, they’ll talk about our goals for the game going forward, and you’ll also learn about how we’re reacting to your feedback with some game updates that will arrive in the next few weeks.
That will appear on the Bungie Blog on Wednesday.
Thank you,
DeeJ

It must be hard to stay positive and focused and not let all the hate and negativity from the community get to you Deej, but know there are some of us that really appreciate you and the great game you guys have created. I have complete faith in all of you. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to the future of D2.
-
While I was generally interested in the stream, I appreciate the update and you taking the time to keep us informed! Look forward to the blog post tomorrow!

I appreciate this.

i would like that one could equip all 4 gestures

Thank you Deej for the post. As a fanboy of this game, I am glad to see how you will address the 99% and what lies in the future for this game. Looking forward to the post, and hopefully maybe a reschedule of the stream (or keep the gear as a surprise 😉)

Thank you Seem. Destiny 2 is not destiny 1. When are dlc for destiny 1 comming out. I want back. I miss my fatebringer i miss my trials emblems from y1 I miss reminders of how I became legend I miss my grimmoire score. And hope some day to find the fate of all fools.

Come on, Bungie. Dont let the internet crybabies dictate how you show off, improve or balance your game. You will literally never ever make them happy. No matter what you do they will still be on the internet crying everyday so its a pointless endeavor. These crybabies should be shunned and ignored, not catered to.

Does any body know what time the blog come out or does it just depend?

I was actually looking forward to seeing a stream about gear and other sandbox changes; while this new topic is certainly critical, I'm still hoping you'll cover the other stuff, too. This is going to sound weird, but Jon Weisnewski's weapon tuning articles are my favorite part of the Bungie blog. I'm a game design student and I frequently consult his notes for inspiration. The one subject my college doesn't cover is balancing multiplayer combat.

Deej, with how you are responding I must say that you have absolutely gotten my attention.
-
Just a couple requests: 1-Please definitively answer the questions that are plauging this game and vexing it's community. 2-Please show show us concrete ways in which our feedback is being incorporated to improve the long term playability of the game. 3-Please give us a timeline and not just a roadmap for the quality of life updates so desperately needed. 4-And finally, but certainly not least, please be a whole lot more informative and detailed than your average "This Week At Bungie"!

Dear Deej, just to give you a heads up: if you plan to make an announcement on small changes that would ease our pain a bit then don't. We only want what has been mentioned in this forum many times over: a redesign of the game to meet up the standards you set with Destiny 1. Something you can't fix in a few weeks, but we will accept any perspective of a better game. After 2200 hours of Destiny 1 i haven't touched Destiny 2 for 20 days now and depending on your announcement tomorrow i might add another 3 years of not touching till Destiny 3 may surface.

Great to hear however we need more than words. You guys have simply burned through all your trials losses and boons ATM (ha trials reference.....I am so funny/s). We need something more substantial to show you are working towards what you are saying. Let's just say that you last stream....didn't really do that. Alternatively if you guys want to make a more casual orientated game please just say so, let us know that destiny is just not the game for us (hard core players). That would be a huge shame as I love the community (and the game... sometimes...) but I am sure I (and other players can find) another. If any one disagrees with my point of view please just make your response polite.

@DeeJ This feels like a step in the right direction, but action will be the final determination on this. I've been holding out now and am down to probably the least amount of Destiny play since the announcement of the conclusion of Destiny 1, D2 just hasn't had that same magical feeling that made D1 a fantastic game. This is really going to be a make or break point for a very large number of players in the community, so I'm hoping that the critical points are heard? Personally, I think these changes will improve fun and make D2 a better game 1. Revert the weapon system back to Primary, Special, and Heavy, and increase the power of weapons in PvE to bring back the feeling of power. Remove special ammo drops from PvP outside of one player pickups (How power ammo works now), and heavy ammo only dropping when killing a player in their super to balance the gameplay. 2. Revert the subclass system back to D1 style node selection and instead expand upon the system adding more options to choose from. 3. Reintroduce random perk rolls on gear, add raid specific perks to all raid gear, and PvP specific perks to IB / Trials gear. 4. Buff abilities on classes, and make cooldowns much quicker, there is no reason to suppress the fun factor 5. Reintroduce the ability to replay missions, strikes, playlists at will

Despite all it's shortcomings, I really hope this game succeeds (How else am I going to get my space magic fix?). It may not be immediately as people hoped, but you guys have your own 3 year grind ahead of you. Good luck.
-
Destiny 2 was a big let down for a lot of us. Destiny one wasn't a jewel at launch though either and you and the community team did alright getting good feedback to the live team at first so fingers crossed

Yea see, heads need to start rolling at this point I'm sorry. As a Software Engineer myself, I know things that have occurred in the past month wouldn't stand at any of the companies I've ever worked for. Time to start making people accountable for the decisions that have been made around there.
-
Please don't screw things up.
-
Hey, My problem originates from my sheer addiction to D1. Like many other players, I too have thousands of hours played on D1. D2 just doesn't captivate me and I feel really bad to say it because I love Destiny as a franchise and all the people at Bungie seem really awesome. I know all you guys worked so hard on this! I mean visually, this game is stunning. I miss my space magic! Make us Guardians again! Not kittens -.- Meow
-
Please provide us with several more meaningful 6+ player fireteam activities other than the raid that we can play with our clanmates and friends. For a game that promotes "friendship" and focuses on clans, we are severely limited. Thank you.
-
Hey, there, to, you, too.

Looking forward to it Deej, make us believe again.

Hey look it's deej! I sure wish we'd hear more from you.

Modifié par ArchDraco_LXIV : 11/28/2017 11:19:33 PMMy interest is here and I'd like to see what comes from this. I'd personally really like to see a better utilization of the mod system and one change I'd be interested in would be to see the current snipers, shotguns, and grenade launchers converted to energy weapons possibly at the cost of a tweak in the ammo economy for these weapon types. Also the return of Heavy Machine guns would be cool.
-
This is a good thing to do. It would be nice to hear that the weapon system will be changed back but I'm managing my expectations.
