PVPless would be a death sentence, sorry. I agree weapon balance and changes need to be completely separate though. No one gives shits about weapons feeling 1:1 for each mode, they care about fun and fair experiences. I'd much rather have PVP specific guns for legendaries tbh. Have one Crucible brand gun of each weapon type and each weapon type archetype. Comes with a slew of perks to choose from that are fair for the PVP environment based on what gun it is. AND THEN you can bring in your exotic to tip the scale how you like it. Makes for easier adjusting PVP side for the legendaries, and then exotics truly feel exotic and can be easier analyzed if something is broken or underperforming.
