The Taken King may be good but the real question is for how long? How many times can people continue to follow the faction grinds, and gear leveling as if this is adding value to the game. The real issue is the year 1 features are not available unless you buy The Taken King. I think its poor how they handled the old gear and guns being a fan of my Red Death and Thunderlord. If Bungie had addressed the issues with year 1 and added some real value it may have earned the trust of many more that would have gladly invested in the year 2 expansion. Instead they stayed quiet and didn't state that you would need The Taken King in order to use the previous game and DLC's we had already paid for. In all honesty I knew the nightfall and strikes would be locked out as most of us veterans saw this with the launch of TDB. I saw numerous people post about being locked out of the nightfall because Omnigul was the Nightfall for the 3rd week in a row lol.. it was so bad and I could understand why they couldn't play because Omnigul was part of TDB release and because it was in the mix they couldn't participate unless they bought the expansion.

older players can still do everything. they were locked out of end game content which they don't deserve to play without playing they can still play PoE, and raid. With their old crap weapons Hahahahah game companys don't work for free. Get over it. Everyone needs to GET OVER IT.

Lol is the trials the high point of competitive fps pvp 4 u....I stopped playing the pvp as it was so casual and low skill, but from a cursory look of your profile and style I can tell u r about an avr fps player at best. I doubt you could play competitively in any other fps...tournaments, leagues etc....
