Seems to me they were focusing more on creating a new experience. The 360 was much more powerful for its time than the xbox one. The 360 Halo games have always run at 30fps, people are expecting much better graphics and framerates than years ago. I think there would be much more upset fans if this current gen Halo ran at 30fps. I'd rather play with a much smoother experience than have awful framerates and lag everywhere. (Much like the split screen on gears of war ultimate edition, it's god awful. I'm glad Halo didn't do that)
