This is actually a really great idea, except for the low range on the jolting pulses. 1m is so small it would pretty much never hit anything. I think normal melee lunge range is around 6.5m, or maybe that's with enhanced lunge range. Either way, the jolting pulses need to reach a lot further than 1m, otherwise you'd have to be literally inside enemies to hit them with it, or balance yourself on their heads. I'd say probably 7m or 8m, so that you have a little leeway, and the exotic isn't too difficult to try and use effectively. Maybe even 10m (the radius of Ascension), so you don't have to stand in stomp range and get constantly interrupted while trying to charge your Thunderclap. In fact, to be honest, maybe even 12m would be necessary, just cuz I think 10m is pretty close to the range at which enemies stomp, and if you're having to always position yourself at the exact edge of your range, to avoid getting stomped out of your Thunderclap, then there are gonna be a lot of times when you're too far away to jolt them, and you screw yourself out of getting the exotic's benefit.

I could see increasing the range a bit. Maybe 3 total pulses, at 4, then 6, then 8m.

Modifié par The Ashen Ranger : 12/6/2024 7:32:34 AMI can almost guarantee you the first 2 pulses at 4m and 6m would never hit anything, and even trying to rely on the 8m one to debuff targets for walloping would get you stomped out of your Thunderclap animation, losing the damage from charging, and putting it on full cooldown. 8m is nowhere near as much range as you think, especially when it comes to staying out of enemies stomping range. Your idea of the jolting pulses and increased damage to jolted targets is fantastic, but if the pulses don't have enough range, they're gonna end up being extremely finicky and frustrating to use, forcing players to rely on other sources of jolt to debuff targets instead.
