I think this warlock may be working with some misinformation. Why wouldn't the riflemans bullet be able to kill ghosts? All of the Barons had dead ghosts on their persons. The spider has dozens in his lair. Its interesting to think that the rifleman might have had a thorn bullet or something but its more likely that she's just wrong.

They still had to have caught a bullet.

They could have ran out of power and their bodies taken by whoever, the ghost that spider has does not look damaged.

It was in a lore card back in D1, I don't remember the exact one but it was about a ghost who was hiding from cabal on mars and we don't know if pulled pork ever return to the city of if being around a ghost helps.
