There's something different, it isn't just buyer-seller. If it was a normal buyer-seller, you'd return the product if you didn't like it and get your money back if you're within the return period. Otherwise you just take your loss, never buy that product again and/or never do business with that seller again and move on.
The last thing anyone ever does is go constantly picket outside of the business with signs saying their product sucks, the company is evil and all the employees are idiots and should be fired while secretly still using the product. That's what most are doing here.

I know that for a brief period after CoO dropped and locked those without it out of much of the base game's content that people were getting refunds, but that was short lived. I think because Bungie realized they had a legal liability and made a quick correction by unlocking a lot of the base game that they had been locked behind CoO. Also, the other part I think is that passion and hope I mentioned - people love what Destiny could be and has been repeatedly promised it would be. They've invested a lot of time (years for most) and money (hundreds of dollars for most) and they are mad, but still not quite at the point of giving up on the game and all,of that investment of time and money. That said, there are some childish idiots who post hate just to post hate. None of what I've said applies to them. Unfortunately, that kind of garbage seems to be the cost of doing business on public internets forums.
