Normal is easy, just jump and smash, no biggie. Hard mode is different. Relic holder must be level 30 if possible, this will make your fight with atheon much easier. We always get a 30 to hold relic, if a 30 goes through they call it and grab relic. If you are 29 do not grab relic unless only 29s go through and the 30s say they are out.. This is the most important part in fighting Atheon on hard. On hard mode when going through portals, its a complete 3 man team effort. The other two not holding relic cannot just start shooting oracles. One of them take the first Oracle while the other waits to hear from relic holder if he needs help. Depending on the spawn, a grenade may need to thrown down to the left or right to activate an enemy shield so the relic holder won't get shot in the back. Do not thow Grenades unless relic holder says so, if you do all shields may activate and relic holder has a higher chance of getting killed. Venus side always throw Grenades as the Praetorian is relic holders first target. When there are three oracles left, relic holder Cleanses teamates and goes through the portal before all oracles are down. You want to time it so that when relic holder activates the shield in the centre you have as close to 30 seconds to do damage. 30 second timer starts when the last Oracle is destroyed. That should help relic holders with some strategy as well.
