Fix Bloom and you will see a huge increase in weapon diversity. Until then its a HoF pulse rifle, shotgun show.

Which ones are the 'Hall of Fame' pulse rifles? The ones that were great in their heyday but have since retired? Hopscotch Pilgrim, Nirwen's Mercy, Spare Change 0.25, The Messenger.

High rate of Fire

Oh I know- sorry, just making a joke. I've usually seen it as 'high ROF'.
-
Spare change was never great really.
-
I never really used it myself (before the nerf), so as far as I know you may well be right. I remember reading back when people were grinding for Hopscotch, that you could get a Spare Change and roll it to be essentially the same. I did this (a ton of rolls), got a pretty solid one- then the archetype was nerfed to be the (by far) worst gun of all. I've still kept it in case the whims of Bungie brings it back.
-
Yea. Spare change could never really be a hopscotch. The stability is too bad. Parthian shot is as close as you'll get to an old hopscotch.
-
I have parthian with braced frame, well and also the year 3 hopscotch with perfect and counterbalance. I haven't really tried any slow-firing pulses in a while. Are any worth using currently?
-
I have Parthian shot with take a knee, braced frame, rangefinder and it's a two burst machine while you're crouched. Max stability and great aim assist. Crazy range too.
-
I didn't notice, but I have take a knee also (I guess I don't crouch in crucible so I ignored the perk entirely- didn't notice the thing about aiming and flinch). The other perk is headseeker (which I hear is useless in crucible actually). So no rangefinder. But hmmmm sounds like worth a try..... btw- what do you think about Aegis of the Reef and Final Duty (two other pulses I have but have not tried)?
